Good to watch your post Camino gear list. Although I had been secretly hoping to see a rain dance, in the end, of course, I’m glad to hear that your rain skirt found a better use than protecting you from rain ☔️ 😊. You truly went light weight this time. Super! 👍🏻
LOL rain skirt dance. Somewhat light weight this Camino. Didn’t bring poncho or rain cover. No extra battery or power bank. It was a good size and weight backpack. Always, thanks for watching.
Super excited for you my friend. Wish you nothing, but safe journey and a very exciting “Buen Camino. “. Your thumbnails are getting better and better. 👍
Thanks Joe. I like your red Gregory backpack with the patch “pilgrim in training”. Which route are you going for Sir? Each route different and have something special to offer.
Thanks for watching. The full loaded bag with everything comes in at around 8 kilograms. What’s heavy is the water. Water alone is already 2 kilograms, so best advice is to “camel up”, drink as much as you can at the water fountain especially on hot days. Cutting weight is hard because we want to bring everything with us for comfort, but you’ll be more comfortable and enjoyable if you carry less weight. You’ll be surprised that you don’t need a lot of things on the Camino.
Thanks for watching. It’s the Gossamer Gear Kumo 36 Superlight Backpack. Super lightweight and hauls juuust enough for fast and light multi-day treks or ultralight overnights.
Wow Sir, that’s amazing! My all time best advice to myself and others peregrino is to slow down and truly enjoy the journey. When I am home and the Camino blues kicks in, oh how I wish to be back on the Camino. May is a great time to go. Buen Camino Joe!
This was so nicely done! And I appreciate your sunny disposition! 😁
Thanks for watching. I hope the information will be useful for future peregrino.
