Reminds me of 11/2 that I loved. For me as a super huge Lion King 1994 animated that is the best one to me I remember sitting down in the theathers when I was invited to watch Mufasa The Lion king I had the bad feeling low expections as 2019 Lion King that I didn't like at all so lifeless not fun and be prepared so bad in that one. I found myself suprise to find the new one a fine movie I liked went better for me with facial expressions original story with Mufasa to me it's not a top favorite I watch from Disney but I'm glad it hasn't been as bad as the 2019 Lion King was for me.

My feeling is telling me after all that positive reviews and praise for Mufasa that this will be the biggest positive surprise hit of the year after almost everyone doubted and trashed on this movie before.
Not sure if you are really familiar or at least interested with video games. But yeah I hope this movie is the Silent Hill 2 (came out earlier this year) a remake of a beloved game from years ago. The studio got a ton of hate and no one believed in it due to the developer's previous work. But then the game came out and it was phenomenal to (pretty much) everyone

Sonic 3 was already declared "good" from everyone since the beginning so you can't talk about being surprised when it turns out to be actually good. So I'm afraid Sonic 3 won't take either spot. Btw I also think that Sonic 3 might win at the box office. Only domestically though. At the international market however Mufasa will probably crush Sonic. The signs are already there.
