As someone who doesn't collect transformers, I can assure you that a vaguely feline face in the chest is common design feature of large robots in general, with Gaogaigar in particular coming to mind.
I thought I got a bargain when I got him from TK Maxx for a tenner and here comes you getting him for £7. He's a neat figure. I do find a lot of the Kingdom beast lads I don't enjoy as much as the OG toys. They're good but they aren't as much fun. That said, the half arsed weapon storage for beast mode makes me laugh so I like that.
I missed him out on TK Maxx when he was at £17 but was lucky to find a similar price on Ebay. Even then he was on sales on the UK Hasbro Pulse, guess there was many of him? Overally I liked him, the orange and teal colour combo look great! I find the Cheetor mold to be more superior on a voyager mold due to the fact the torso is not narrow/ skinny compared to Cheetor. Yes I know the reason as Cheetah are slim animal but it compramise the bot mode! The nickpick I got are, the arms look weird from the side view as they are position behind everything else body wise. Naturally the arm are suppose to be align the same as the legs! Also design being a voyager mold, the arms transformed differently, instead of conceal and become the Cheetah belly, it folds in and become the Tiger chest. In another word, the robot crotch piece is expose in tiger mold but in saying so, you don't it unless you look underneath the tiger!

I only got one of them to protect myself from myself. I knew that if I got more than that then I'd feel like I needed to do the whole set and I really couldn't commit to that at the time hah

Seven quid is a great price for that beast mode. And the tiger head's placement in robot mode makes it look like an overly ornate breastplate.
