    Got to ride this trail for the first time last weekend. That one mile stretch between the switchbacks is some of the sickest trail anywhere! Thanks again for the awesome content and keep it coming!

    7:00 mark....Holy High-Speed Highjinx. That was nuts! I kept think there would be a huge tree across the trail NOT CUT at any moment and we would get to see a James Bond style ejection out the front door. That looked like a blast! I can't believe you guys rip it that fast without a pre-run!

    • @TrailPeek
      @TrailPeek  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lol, it’s crazy how many cut trees are on this trail. It takes a lot of work keeping these trails running!

    Man, this is my new favorite video of y'alls. Looks like a lot of fun with that speed and those logs coming out of nowhere. Keep up the videos so i can live vicariously though them. lol

    The only bummer is when you get back into the switchbacks again because that means it's almost over.
    Looks like you got on it more recently than me; there were two logs down on it around Memorial Day weekend. We shuttled Lawler as well, which is super fun. Tried to get my group to go back up for Hardesty or Goodman/Eagles but everyone was too tired.

    • @TrailPeek
      @TrailPeek  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lol so true. Such a good trail. Really need to spend more time up there and get on the other trails.

    Nice! I just rode Alpine for the first time yesterday. The locals said it was blown out, but it was still so smooth and lush compared to most of what we have in SoCal.

    • @TimMaddux
      @TimMaddux 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It won't really be blown out until after MBO hits it in July and August.

    • @TrailPeek
      @TrailPeek  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oregonians will never know blown out until they've experienced SoCal summer trails!

    Night rode this trail on a tandem back in the days.....and being the stoker....have to say, i was lovin this trail, and losing my shit. Climbed this trail the first time ever.....spring time....big mistake. The blow down was insane. Still, we finished it. I love this trail...

    I'm excited plan to ride this trail in August. Conditions look prime right now with some nice moisture under the soil and no dust being kicked up, perfect for follow cam. Come August I suspect it will be more dusty. Top 3 trails you recommend in the Oakridge Area? This one, Alpine....

    • @TrailPeek
      @TrailPeek  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Eula, Lawler and Alpine for sure. I haven't ridden anything else yet. Moon Point looks rad as well!

    • @TrailPeek
      @TrailPeek  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I (Zach) rode heckletooth last year. The top was cool. The rest wasn’t anything special compared to Eula, Lawler, or Larison Rock

    Stoked you guys were in my backyard! Represent! Did you get to ride anywhere else? Alsea Falls? Blackrock? Mary’s Peak?

    • @TrailPeek
      @TrailPeek  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We only were in Oakridge for 3 days for a photoshoot. Ridden a lot of stuff in Corvallis, never made it to Mary’s though.

    • @trailswithtrevor1509
      @trailswithtrevor1509 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nice! You're familiar with Corvallis, huh? That where I live! Yeah, Mary's Peak is legit. Not jumpy or anything, but straight up fast gnar on old school single track with some exposure. Well hell, if you get up this way again, shoot me a message! Alsea Falls and Mary's Peak on me!

  • @samperi01

    I didn't see a single rock anywhere omg

    • @TrailPeek

      There's plenty of rock in the steeper parts but Oakridge is mostly loamy ripping single track!
