Doku is a great impact player, but Grealish, for all his lack of professionalism, offers much better balance overall. Walker is finally slowing down. Bernado Silva has lost a step, as has Gundogan (though both are still great on their day). Selling Alvarez was an obvious mistake (though I get why they were tempted). De Bruyne is still incredible, but injuries are taking their toll l, and he is maybe too free-spirited for Guardiola's comfort. Meanwhile Rico Lewis is a brilliant playmaker, but I don't rate him as a fullback. Finally Ederson's form has fallen off a cliff.
Im sure that the issue at city is the presence of erling haaland. they all hold back their shots cause they know its haaland supposed to take them. thats why we are taking so few shots at goal these days and in return no goals.
