I love these videos. Iv been looking for advice on how to do a Pollock, and yours are by far the best iv come across. Thanks you kindly sir. Very well done 👍 👌
I have always been an art fan and especially a fan of Pollock and other like artists and I have recently started painting similar works. I have found that they are more striking on large canvases. Have you painted large canvases in this style?
It varied, and depended on the piece. Some of the more common colors were turquoise and red, but almost all of his pieces were dominantly white and black.
So, let me get this straight.... the ONLY reason you're painting at all is because you wanted to see if you could make yourself a Pollock like painting? And that's pretty much your only interest in painting?
@@spellbound111 Only Pollock can make a Pollock painting but I will agree that someone could maybe come close to a Pollock. What's your point? Just because a painting might be easy to replicate doesn't = the painting has no value. In fact, 'easy to replicate" has nothing to do with how much you enjoy/ value a painting.

I challenge you to attempt to replicate a Pollock painting.
Walter. Many people have replicated Pollock's paintings, there are even tutorials on youtube regarding this.
