It’d be cool if you could put a motor on the hand crank that turns the train and mannequin so that they would go continuously as well. The lighting looks absolutely amazing!
Wow, awesome video! I’m looking to buy this kit and I haven’t built the Lego set yet. Do you think it’s better to build the set and then add the lights, or incorporate them during the build?
Thank you! I would say it’s always easier after it’s built. Most instructions are set up that way as well. You’ll definitely be taking a lot of it apart but it will allow you place wires in better spots.
I know I'm late to the video, but I'm thinking of buying a light kit for this set from LightMyBricks. Does everything you need come with the Home Alone kit? Or do you have to buy some basic elements separately? This would be my first LightMyBricks kit so I'm wondering if there are any "starter kit" elements that I would also need to add to my order, such as a power adapter or a battery, etc.
@@wislarstud Everything you’ll need does come in the kit. Although if you want to plug it into the wall you’ll need a usb wall plug. I would suggest this highly. It’s has a lot of lights and will kill batteries quickly. This kit in the video is also from their 1.0 line. The 2.0 kit (if it’s available) is massively different. The lights are different and are easier to install. It will still need a usb wall plug though. I can say that the 1.0 lights while more tedious will probably be more dynamic. The 2.0 stuff is great but it’s also limited in scope. I hope this helps!!
You said it Mike!!! Best set ever!! I love how you lit it up, it looks amazing 🤩 But too many wires for me!! I might just put a light bulb in 😂 you did so well 👍
Yes the wires can totally get damaged if you don’t put them in the right places. I’ve had some not work before and 99% of the time it was because I pinched the wire too much. Most of time if you fix the pinch the light will work again.
Is is possible to remove the back kitchen/basement section to put it off to the side or do the wires not let this happen? I want to put mine in a narrower spot and the kitchen area will be a bit too deep overall.
I believe so. I think there’s enough wire to move it. I noticed that as well. It’s kinda hard to integrate into a city or a cabinet. You can wire it up without that section at all if you want to.
I would probably stay with Light My Bricks. They are the best In business. Great quality and lighting design. The instructions are great but that are online only. So having an I pad or laptop will help a lot. Check out Nightmode as well. They are the new lighting system from LMB. It’s super easy to use but it’s new and there aren’t too many kits available. I hope this helps and being patient will help a lot. Lighting can be tedious. Good luck!
@@LitBricks ~ thank for the advice. I’ve been so confused by all the different brands but I do find myself going back to LMB. Hopefully I will figure it out 🤞🏻😊
I haven’t done a light kit before but I need to light up my home alone house. This set looks nice because they hide the wires so well and the van can be detached but your video makes me nervous when you say it’s hard. 😭
it's cool but wire are still visible....too much of that is no way for me.I will keep my HA home as is, but Hey man very nice work. u are truly patient guy on such!

I could actually do that! Probably. 🤣🤣
I can't even get my hands on a HA1 House and your over here lighting it up.
I hope you find one!! 😃
Beautiful job…..final tour was impressive!
Thank you!

Thank you so much! It was a lot of wires! Not the easiest. 🤣
And the lions
This is just epic when the house is lit up ..great job 👍👍👍. Looking forward to seeing you place all your buildings together 😍😍😍
Thank you! It’s so bright!
@@LitBricks most welcome 😁
Now you really did make this stunning Christmas behemoth even more lit 🤩 Beautiful job!
Thank you! It wasn’t easy. 🤣
@@LitBricks From my humble experience with LEDs - I really can believe it wasn’t 😅
I have to wait until Christmas, but I like all spoiler videos
Can the wires get damaged? Have you found that any of the led lights stop working? Thanks and great video!

WOW! This looks so awesome 😀🇿🇦😀
Just WOW! That’s looks Amazing!
Such a great set & you’ve made it even better. Well done! 👏🏻🤙🏻
Great video!
Thank you!
18:39 18:41 it’s a great set….. I get everything from Game of Bricks
Just wondering if you can do a full lighting kit video for the titanic Lego set
Yes I can do that! My titanic set arrived today! The light kit is ordered and will be here in a week or so. I’ll definitely be making a video for it.
@@LitBricks thank you so much it will help me with my lighting kit
Try not to edit the video to much
@@michaelboyd8953 No problem. It’s a big set so I’m sure it will be a longer video.
@@LitBricks you will most definitely love building the titanic set
How is the titanic build going

I’m new to light kits. Would you recommend this brand or another for the novice beginner?

Ever just wish you could make yourself small enough to go inside the Lego houses? 🤣
I really do! That would be awesome!

Don’t let me deter you. 😃 It’s definitely one of more challenging I’ve done but you can do it! It’s totally worth it!
I was about to say but I will probably just watch this a couple times and I think I will be fine
How many hours did that take you?
It took about 10hr over 2 days.
How long did you take to install it?
It took like 5-6hr to install the lights.
it's cool but wire are still visible....too much of that is no way for me.I will keep my HA home as is, but Hey man very nice work.
u are truly patient guy on such!
Thank you! It’s definitely tedious.
