Lyrics:
Come to decide that the things that I tried were in my life just to get high on.
When I sit alone, come get a little known
But I need more than myself this time.
Step from the road to the sea to the sky, and I do believe that we rely on
When I lay it on, come get to play it on
All my life to sacrifice.
Hey oh... listen what I say oh
I got your hey oh, now listen what I say oh
When will I know that I really can't go
To the well once more - time to decide on.
Well it's killing me, when will I really see, all that I need to look inside.
Come to belive that I better not leave before I get my chance to ride,
Well it's killing me, what do I really need - all that I need to look inside.
Hey oh... listen what I say oh
Come back and hey oh, look at what I say oh
The more I see the less I know
The more I like to let it go - hey oh, woah...
Deep beneath the cover of another perfect wonder where it's so white as snow,
Finally divided by a word so undecided and there's nowhere to go;
Inbetween the cover of another perfect wonder and it's so white as snow,
Running through the field where all my tracks will be concealed and there's nowhere to go.
Ho!
Went to descend to ammend for a friend of the channels that had broken down.
Now you bring it up, I'm gonna ring it up - just to hear you sing it out.
Step from the road to the sea to the sky, and I do belive what we rely on,
When I lay it on, come get to play it on
All my life to sacrifice
Hey oh... listen what I say oh
I got your hey oh... listen what I say oh
The more I see, the less I know
The more I like to let it go - hey oh, woah...
Deep beneath the cover of another perfect wonder where it's so white as snow.
Finally divided by a word so undecided and there's nowhere to go
Inbetween the cover of another perfect wonder where it's so white as snow
Running through the field where all my tracks will be concealed and there's nowhere to go.
I said hey hey yeah oh yeah, tell my love now.
Hey hey yeah oh yeah, tell my love now.
Deep beneath the cover of another perfect wonder where it's so white as snow,
Finaly divided by a word so undecided and there's nowhere to go.
Deep beneath the cover of another perfect wonder where it's so white as snow...
Running through the field where all my tracks will be concealed and there's nowhere to go.
I said hey oh yeah oh yeah... tell my love now
Hey yeah yeah... oh yeah.y divided by a world so undecided

The more I like to let it go
Hey oh, whoa, whoa, whoa
Deep beneath the cover of another perfect wonder
Where it's so white as snow
Privately divided by a world so undecided
And there's nowhere to go
In between the cover of another perfect wonder

Just went to their concert at the Gorge!!❤
Of course
❤
Yup still rocking
Yup🤘🏻
RHCP is that band you listen to with your parents growing up and when you're an adult it all makes sense.
Brings back such a feeling.
My mom and dad used to listen to them for hours. Then Californication is the first video clip I can remember watching. Now about 18 years later and indeed, it all makes sense.
Ikr
My kids heard the chili peppers... And as adults they get it.
This comment made me tear up
not me unfortunately, Davie504 got me into rhcp and primus
When I was in a dark place this song was my escape from reality. I would go to sleep every night listening to this song. This was the only song that was capable of letting me forget the word I owe my life to rhcp thank you
Hope you’re in a better place now Maria ❤
Darker nights make brighter days
Remember when your in a dark place these always someone worse off than you head up soldier on think of someone you love ❤️
Im so with you. Me too. This one, zephyr song, and others are refugee songs where we go when we want to b left alone with our thoughts and cry or whatever else we need. A hug. 🙏🐌🌸🐸🎵❤️💯🏆⭐️
That’s awesome 🙂
This song never gets old. No matter how much I listen, I'm never bored
I just want to share a memory with you.
I first listened to this song last summer, when I was on Crete. I sat at the pool bar every evening and played chess with two guys from the Netherlands. In the background was music. After one game was finished we ended up sitting at the bar talking to the bar keeper and one of the two guys went to bed. Then this song started and the bar keeper & the guy, that stayed from the Netherlands started singing to this song and I was literally flashed. After their performance I asked them for the song name, I gave the guy from the Netherlands my phone and he wrote down the song name in my notes. I still have the note on my phone til today.
I'm sure I'll never see any of them again but it feels good to have this little memory with them.
Thank you for listening.
Ah that’s nice ☺️
Nice story
That's an awesome story :)

@@anggabocil9813 Why are u sad?
Me and my Grandpa would listen to this song all the time. R.I.P. Grandpa see you soon in heaven.
soon?
XxSLYMONSTERxX Don't leave. People here still need you.
@K/J S/B right?? Kind of cryptic?
sorry, but there is no heaven. your grandfather is gone forever and nothing can change that. death is just like before your were born. don't worry though, it is not that scary. you won't know you are dead because there won't be a "you" anymore.
j.sandusky right you just. Know this because???
Red Hot Chili Peppers is a band that is a living legend. Music and lyrics that are poetry. 🎶
My dad hated me listening to them, every time they were on the radio hed say "those guys dont know how to sing" he only liked sinatra and such.
I really miss him. I wish i could have another moment to laugh with him.
You are a good son bro ..dad must be proud
I'll give to your Dad that Sinatra and other jazz singers like him are among the greatest singers of all time and are impossible to replace and so listening to untrained vocalists (like Kiedis) is a bit jarring for fans that are used to listening to such precision in singing, but I'm sorry, I halfta dock your Dad for failing to recognize the magic and the poeticism of the Chilis. Music is a form of storytelling, a way to share your perspective of the human experience and to paraphrase Kiedis in this song, no matter your experience "...just sing it out."
The opening guitar solo for this song is
really freaking awesome. Now THIS is
the kind of jam you DEFINITELY want
to listen to when you're planning to go
on an awesome road trip.
I've often hear from guitar players I know say that this is actually much more challenging to play than most people would notice. Now that I watch him more closely, I can see why.
Patrick Smith It's really hard to keep it going lol. It's a damn good riff though :).
Fucking amazing on an acid trip too man
Lol just got back from a trip to California and this was on our song playlist
Right on!
The intro is so legendary...
It is 2023 and people still love this song and I love it too
I'm not a dancer but if this song came on in a club, I'd make a fool out of myself getting down to this.
RHCP is a childhood memory for me, a fragment of the good times that I like to look back on. Scar Tissue, Under the Bridge and others always make me feel like I'm home, really home again. This one is just another reason why they are my favorite 90s rock band.

Wow. The lyrics the flow the rhythm the vocals the instrumentals and that sweet sweet guitar. Absolutely wonderful
my pops died a few years back, rhcp was his favorite band. It's the only thing I have of his, the love of these amazing musicians. they've seen me through a drug addiction, suicide attempts, and the birth of my child. i hope they keep playing for years to come.
RHCP manager: How many masterpieces can u make?
RHCP: Yes!
So damn accurate 😂
Right 🙏😂
Amir Shrestha mi
It's physically impossible for RHCP to make a bad song.
oh they can dude.
they are just to proud to actualy do it, only for some quick money. something you can't say for modern artists anymore.
Chaz never a truer word spoken I myself haven't come across one that I don't like either, They've got the midas touch of music!!!
They could make a hardcore a
Rap song but that would suck
You mean to say literally..and not physically
Actually, it's physically impossible for John Frusciante to make a bad song...
While the music I like consist mostly of alternative rock and metal, RHCP is an exception, the songs are well written and the music is well played too.
Metallica has well written music. Viking metal is pretty great too.
i happen 2 love Metallica :D
I was just pointing out that metal can have intricate music as well, but I'm glad to hear you like Metallica.
I know what you mean, if u like a combination of intricate lyrics and hard rock, check out tool if u haven't already, there a great band
everything u said and eminem, he raps about life situations that i like thathe raps about that
The opening riff always just makes me feel as calm as I'll ever be. It feels soothing. That's what music was made to do. Entertain, calm, or just to be all-out for fun.

"Snow (Hey Oh)" has become a fan favorite and a staple of the Red Hot Chili Peppers' live performances. It showcases the band's musical versatility and songwriting prowess, cementing its place as one of their most beloved tracks.
they are so nostalgic for me to listen to I tear up when I listen to music I used to listen to when I was a kid because it does all make sense so much more sense than what I thought it was making when I was younger
I'm 56 and tear up.👍
I love the guitar at the beginning. There are a few songs that can legit make me tear up when I hear them is this is one of them. Anybody get that relaxed/ somehow nervous feeling in their chest when this song starts?
I’m proud to say that this is my favorite song of all time.
I just finished scar tissue 💔 Anthony has overcome a lot! Unless you're an addict/alcoholic you'll understand what he's talking about😢 thank you Anthony for blessing us with your talents and showing us how life gets better after recovery ❤

Such a mix of nostalgia, sorrow, and good vibes
This song has always been my childhood song. My parents played it for me when I was 2 or 3, and I loved it so much that I would dance and jump to the beat. Even on road trips, my dad would play this song on his radio and I would be in the backseat kicking my feet to the beat. I never really knew the lyrics, but I really loved the beat and that guitar! I'm 16 now. I listened to this song again, now I know the lyrics to this song, and man does it hit different. It brings back all the good memories I've had when I was so young, and brings me joy whenever I listen to this song.
Lots of good memories associated with this song!
All songs from RHCP bring good memories miss them. I identify a good time in my life with ALL their songs, coincidence?
iEatyourbrain84 same
This song reminds me of a simpler time when everything was sunny and everyone was happy. 2021 anyone
Those golden old days.. I hate this modern world honestly
I wasn't born early enough to see the days but the stories I've heard make me wish I was it sounded so much more simple back then
For anyone that wonders, this song is about the addiction some of the band members had to cocaine and their wishes to quit.
Sometimes addiction makes sad beautiful music look what it did for Alice in chains and Layne Staley.
Thank you. Not a lot of ppl know this . I’m glad you’re educated
All "bad" stories have and beutyful side. Its just life
@@damienhughes1996 wow dude I was sitting here thinking that very same thought and the same time was reading it....Alice in Chains....I stay away and Nutshell....masterpieces
always thought it was more bout redemption
When I first heard this song I was like four years old something like that and my Aunt and Uncle started playing this and my cousins and I were sitting around listening and playing with each other, they continued to play this song for years and whenever I hear this song it reminds me of the times when shit was so simple and fun. Whenever I hear this song I smell the fresh scent of my Uncles barbecued ribs or hot dogs or something and the soft sheets of that house and the smell of my family. The warm hugs of my Aunt and the laughs from my Uncle. It reminds me of making a whirl pool with all the kids in the hot tub. I miss that house so much. I miss my family but whenever I listen to this it makes me feel like they are here and I’m back to that beautiful fun time in my life.
At a talent show in elementary school, someone played the drum part of this. If they didn't then I wouldn't know about this amazing song.
I still listened to this song on daily basis for health purpose .
I listen to it on daily basis because my bird likes it

I got fired and I am listening to this masterpiece.
Summer 2006, I had lost my father. Who had taught me how to play poker. I fell into a deep depression for months.
November that year, my friends heard a new casino had opened. And they insisted I go with them and try the poker tourney at the new place. After some convincing, I went along. This song played on the radio 4 times on the 70 minute drive to the casino.
It played 3 more times that afternoon, as I dominated the game. Including one last time as I finished the tourney and placed 1st. Turning a mere 35 bucks into 3700. I treated my friends to dinner and a movie afterward. (Ironically, Casino Royale).
My spirits were lifted for the first time in months.
Ever since then, this was my lucky song.
And my friends said my Dad was out there with me at the tables that day.
Now, I listen to it before every poker game.
Cool brothe🙂
