The music from Transformers Prime is a masterpiece, and when I heard that cadence (not sure if that is the right word) while watching Transformers One, I was on the edge of my seat with joy.

Sadly TF One's lore is nothing like TFP's which is set in stone and goes way deeper (It is briefly touched on in the show, but the books The Covenant Of Primus, and Transformers: Exiles cover all the lore and prequel story for the TFP universe) so they aren't the same universe, and TF One is not a prequel to any other universe. However, the TFP references (along with the many references to other TF Universes) in the movie were great touches for fans. TF One is it's own story apart from every universe, it's in its own universe. It was made to help the general non-fan audience become interested in the franchise, give new fans some basics of TF lore, and also treating long time fans of any TF Universe with this masterpiece. In the morning we got up and watched the TF Prime series, then we played need for speed underground 2 on the play station 2 and in the evening we went out and then we watched Thor. Childhood is over. Man... hearing that theme again and Bryan Tylor coming back to compose another Transformers project really brings my childhood back, he's my other favorite composer and I love the soundtracks in Transformers One. I was actually filled with tears of joy, it's a masterpiece and now hearing this music of yours with both Prime and One together is beautiful! I have hopes for the sequel and it deserves a lot of love as it brings the classics back to our childhood. Is anyone getting flashbacks already while listening to this? Because I sure did.

Yes, yes we absolutely did. Me, personally, I feel like his humble beginnings are a very defining part of his character's journey. Not that being a miner isn't humbling, but I wouldn't call his personality very modest.
This is what I was hoping for seeing as both show and movie shared the same composer. I know Brian Tyler hinted at the Prime score, I just wish he flat out used it at the end with the beat down of Megs. Would have made a score that was 9/10 an 11/10.
If I have one critique of the movie, it’s that I wish we got to explore D-16’s backstory more and his fall to becoming Megatron. And of course, Orion’s relationship with Alpha-Trion as mentor and apprentice.
Watching the movie and part of the show as a kid, I would like to see someone come up with the idea of if Orion Pax (TF1) came to the Primeverse and see Cybertron's future. He learned to be a leader while the Prime cast sees a new side of Optimus Prime.
