This masterclass will teach you the techniques Matt has taught students who all performed these incredible roles in the hit musical Dear Evan Hansen night after night on Broadway, the National Tour and in London! As one of the hired Vocal Teachers for the production, Matt has worked extensively with these parts.
Matt will work individually and with the group on the vocal component. This includes body positioning, breath coordination, vocal cord approximation and laryngeal positioning on "Waving Through a Window", "For Forever", "Sincerely Me" and "Good for You". You will also learn the secrets and vocal health regimen he has given the actors who play these parts night after night and what keeps them ticking! Finally, we put it all together with our two guest teachers who will help you embody the characters and give insight into these roles.

- Sam Primack: currently playing Evan alternate in Dear Evan Hanson National Tour. Sam made his Broadway debut in Dear Evan Hansen u/s Evan, Jared and Connor. Favorite credits also include playing Pugsley Addams in The Addams Family US Tour
- Jared Goldsmith: currently playing Jared in Dear Evan Hansen on Broadway (Broadway debut) after playing Jared in the Dear Evan Hansen National Tour.
