  • Hansu has had a questionable last few months with a big reorganization and many orders going unfulfilled. After a brief hiatus, they've come back to the market with their new Pro Combo Rack 2.0. I reviewed the first version of this rack previously, and while overall a good rack, I had some suggestions for them. Let's take a look at the new rack to see how it stacks up.

    The thing I learned from this video is that the equipment you have doesn’t just magically show up in your basement on its own.

    Solid upgrades over the last model. If they come out with an orange version, this could end up in The No Whine Cellar 🧡

    Wheels on the bench is a nice feature I wish the TSS had….is there any lateral movement in the face savers when everything is screwed in

    • @BasementBrandon
      @BasementBrandon  6 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Yeah still some slop, I think the issue with having the braces super tight would be getting them on/off and scratching the uprights... unless they put some uhmw on there.

      @@BasementBrandon barbells order. I was told my order was sent out this past Monday but now orders are getting sent out this coming Monday apparently. Not sure. It’s been a bit of a headache. Fingers crossed I get it next week, not at the discount it’s at now but just to get the order over with haha. You have been a good voice for us in the community with them giving them a bit of a push thank you.

    It's not bad looking. However, the important question is how good is it for curling in?

    • @BasementBrandon
      @BasementBrandon  5 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      The adjustable uprights means you can start your curling at any desired height, even with a loaded rackable curl bar.

    Looks good and that price was a bargain! If I remember correctly, close to the price of the GetRX combo, but likely much better in quality.

    • @BasementBrandon
      @BasementBrandon  4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      You're right, on the first day of the sale I think they ended up being around the same price as you have to pay shipping on top of the 1399 for the Get RXd.

    Why would it make aense to get a combo rack as opposed to a regular cage? Or is it just a matter of preference?

    • @rrrGeist
      @rrrGeist 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Bench integration with a lot of models. Bench and squat hooks at the same time. But mostly for competition like training. Keep in mind that the safety stuff is designed for Bench onlym

    • @BasementBrandon
      @BasementBrandon  7 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I have talked about this in a few of my other combo videos but I would always suggest rack >>> combo. Combos are a nice secondary option for comp specific people or those with just disposable income.

      Could also depend on who is lifting with you. For instance if you have a couple buddies who lift the same weight as you but vastly different heights a combo rack would be better than a power rack. But who am I kidding none of us have friends
