I Own Pardon, Nasomatto Baraonda, LV Imagination, Prada Amber Pour Homme, Amouage Black Iris & Dior Homme Intense. I would say Pardon is probably my favourite of the bunch.
@@Spahbed man I love almost all of those except Pardon 😅 it’s all subjective I haven’t tried the Prada or Baraonda but the rest of those I have. I don’t hate pardon but I don’t get what’s special about it. It’s weird my wife got a gourmand I get more like a raisin it’s as if we’re smelling two different things.
@@CgScents Yeah i struggle to explain what it is that I smell too lol, i just like its scent profile. I found out about it from Aaron Terence Hughes, i've seen a bunch of his reviews and I had never seen him react so positively / passionately about any other fragrance.
I saw that too! I don’t get that at all I am very perplexed the other hyped fragrances I didn’t get off the top of my head were Initio Side Effect, Triumph of Bacchus, and LV Symphony, and now Pardon. Some of those I disliked I don’t dislike pardon but I don’t get it at all. I want to give it a chance the best fragrances grow on the user but it’s hard when decants are impossible to source. Better just try more Nasomatto’s.
I had the same experience as you. Reminded me of a 90’s fragrance geared more towards older men, a bit stuffy too. Like a used car salesman’s signature scent. I feel the same about Creed Aventus. Just not for me. I would love for you to post a video at some point soon of your top 15 or 20 fragrances thus far in your journey. As always, another great and unfiltered review, super helpful.
I (male, late 30s) own this one and I kinda like it, I really enjoy the chocolatey whiffs that start to appear after maybe half an hour, on my skin. However. One of my colleagues from office next door (female, early 40s) wears this and it smells kinda animalistic/dirty on her, I don't enjoy that at all. When I wear this, within 1 hour I'm completely noseblind and can smell it only very faintly. But I know the sillage and longevity is really good, because whenever the coworker walks across that tiny hallway that connects our offices, the scent lingers for good 5 minutes lol, it's actually insane. edit: you absolutely nailed it with your rating, 7/10 and I rarely reach for it.
My first Nasomatto and it is perhaps my favorite house. At first, I thought the performance was weak, specially compared to other Nasomatto offers, but I left it there for over 8 months with a few usages (I found out my aunt was reaching for it without my consent, she tells me it's the best one in my collection -- Curiously she hated my Musk Ravageur but she's progressively changing her mind), perhaps just aging in the closet to the point where you can clearly see how the liquid changed to a more punchy green color than it used to be. I wore it again this past weekend and I found the performance this time absolutely nuclear! I know how almost every Nasomatto smells like by heart despite not having all of them (Got tons of samples) but I would say: Baraonda>Pardon>Black Afghano>Duro>Silver Musk> Fantomas=Blamage=Narcotic V> Absinthe> Sadonaso>Nudiflorum. I have not had the privilege to try China White and Hindu Grass. Based on your tastes, I think you would like Baraonda as a boozy fragrance and the uniqueness of Fantomas (it's so wearable and unique). Perhaps, Blamage as a birch woody sweet fragrance. If you did not love Pardon, perhaps you won't love Duro (it has my fav Nasomatto dry down though).
Personally Pardon is one of my favourites. I got my nose on Jubilation XXV some time after buying it, and for me it was the closest thing to it as far as scent profile goes
Hey, I love your videos. Thorough breakdown, no overhyping and bringing in a second perspective. Would you be able to checkout bois imperial? I heard a lot about it but I'd love to hear your opinions on it. Supposed to be a great budget niche.
The first time I smelled Pardon I flashed back to my home economics classroom in jr. high. Kind of weird, but it dried down to a pretty unique and wearable scent. I have to give it another wear to fully suss it out. I did notice the skin on the back of my neck seemed to get a little irritated from it though. I received Baraonda at the same time as Pardon. Had the inverse experience to Pardon. At first I was like “Oh, whiskey. Cool.” But as it wore on it just smelled like I spilled a drink on myself. It may be a great artistic expression in fragrance, but not much of a personal scent. I want to like Nasamotto as a house, but first and foremost I’m looking for fragrances which reflect the image I want to present. Nasomatto, judged by Pardon and Baraonda, borders on that self indulgent artistic expression, shared by some other niche offerings. I can appreciate them but considering the prices and (lack of) wearability, I don’t think the juice is worth the squeeze.
I’m with you on this one I was a tad disappointed given the hype . Yep only way to buy this things are blind buy lol . There samples are a joke .Think you will like Duro buttery leather
Personally I’ve tried two from this house and I don’t see what the fuss is about. They weren’t bad at all just a bit overhyped, but scent is always subjective.
hello bro i just buy xerjoff naxos from your recomandation and i love it. can you give me recomandation for next try or make 10 fragance collection pls :)
It’s so subjective and depends on what you’re looking for. I got a playlist ‘perfect 10 fragrances’ that I rate my personal favorites and explain each one on my channel. Maybe check out Sospiro vibrato for the summer I really like that one and think it would pair nice with Naxos on a shelf.
Aqua di Parmas I find to have very nice scent profiles, in general, but they are sort of on the opposite end from Nasomatto as far as performance. I haven’t tried AdP Oud. I’ve been looking for agreeable ours lately. Sounds interesting.
@ man I find nasomatto overrated...I be tested four of them and I find the juice of all of them not that great. This gaultieri guy is really smart and does great marketing and packaging but to me a perfume must have a balance between experiment and something which smells good. Gaultieri just capitalises on that craze people have towards perfumes and those reviewers who 90% are not reviewing...they advertise. ADP does something that is simple. Produce perfumes that smell nice and have a quality you don't find in chippies and clones. Have you noticed that ADP has very few clones? What they sell is quality. Not a scent line.

Greetings from Greece!for me pardon is a work of art in perfumery!
Love the authenticity

It's genuinely one of my all time favourites.
The chocolate/pastry note is coming from patchouli. My favorite Nasomatto is Fantomas, it’s super weird/synthetic but still wearable.
Nice review. I blind bought Baraonda and I like Black Afgano from Nasomatto

Amazing fragrance
Duro is better however
Pls try duro mate that's the one
Duro is good I like it more than pardon. The only Nasomatto I’ve had to have so far is black afgano

then I've got to try it. Ever tried Baraonda?
Acqua die Parma Oud smells similar and it s more wearable...pardon is too loud for me. Best thing ever smelled? Lol
