Hey Mike! Very nice HA build; some people grumble about HA, but I love the location, for reasons you illustrated in your build. I particularly liked the recessed storefronts and the fact you named and decorated them. I strugled for awhile with where to put my crops, and eventually ended up making rooftop gardens, reasoning they'd get more sunlight up there. HA is a really nice location for survival and for a Minutemen playthrough as it extends your flare gun's "range" into central Boston, and if you can squeeze artillery into HA, you'll have artillery support reaching into downtown Boston. Cheers!
@Jimmyinvictus I can see the benefits in survival mode for sure! Really close to diamond city and a lot of other landmarks, which places it quite central in the map. It's not central Boston either, so less chance of getting into unnecessary gunfights with all the mobs in the buildings that respawn. Sitting the crops up high is a good idea, I'd tried to do that with the greenhouses but they still don't get a huge amount of sunlight 1 story up. Should have gone 2 stories.
I like you've put the ceiling fan over the weapon workbench. The shadow left over from the fire barrel isn't removable and it seriously triggers many a builders ocd.
Awesome build! You did a really great job of incorporating the existing, non-removable structures in your build. Might be one of the best vanilla game builds I've seen. Glad you're having fun with Fallout 4. 😎😎
Very nice, I also went vertical there but couldn't get it to cooperate on the other side with the fire escape. I love all the decorations, awesome. Did you use any mods?
@graphic40 thanks very much 😁 the only mod I used was place everywhere, which removes collisions. I attempted this without it, and it's probably possible to do, but they were driving me mad so I decided to get rid of that headache 🤣
Wow! Very impressed. I never put any thought into settlements. You need 6 beds, here’s 8, you need some crops, here’s some corn. This looks great. Plus the Hangman’s Alley is a great settlement for survival mode so you’ll be ready to build when you start that survival run. Hint hint. Looking forward to it. Thanks again
@Jagermonsta_ thanks very much 😁 haha yeah I need to get finished with the main campaign on this first 🤣 that's my plan to get back to it and proceed at pace in the next episode. I've gone off on in a completely different direction recently 😅
So cool, I never got the hang of decorating but it's fun to see! Now go find Sean, for heaven's sake!

Amazing! The Chem Commandments…very nice play on words there my friend. 🤭🤣🤣
@@johnwpipes8927 haha I knew I'd think of something eventually 🤣

@BionicleJackson haha yeah I noticed another lit up wall on the other side as well, and that had to be sorted also 🤣

AWESOME JOB. I'm jealous of people that can create super lore friendly settlements. Mine look modern and have little variation.
@shaneferris6742 thanks very much 😁🙌🏼

Looks absolutely incredible! The Chem Commandments and drug signs are great and would look great outside my actual lab 😂
@emmao13524 haha thank you, feel free to steal the name 😁👍🏻🤣
@@mike-thegamingdad I really really would like to buuuuut I'm a chemistry teacher, so school might not approve 😅 shame!!!
@emmao13524 haha fair enough you're probably right 🤣
Great settlement! 👌🏻
@toragirsl1441 thank you 😁👍🏻
I suppose this is better than making everyone that pops up here move to a better location.
@dirklake1409 they have everything they need now, a bar, chems, guns and a medic to patch themselves up after 🤣
Nice
@@ye4thorn thank you 😁
LOL...ok, you already did the Curie mission making her human here...LOL. Cool build, in a very tight spot.
@iamyourmuse haha yeah I didn't want to say and ruin it as you hadn't reached that bit in the let's play series 🤣
