Glad to see you back at it. While you mentioned the new LE concealer, I use a Make Up Forever beige eyeliner for concealer. I can’t see paying that much money for such little product.
Ooh, I never thought about using a eyeliner in beige for concealing. What a great idea. This is an expensive, but I do see myself using it. Thanks for making the time to watch today.
I am one in the "it is too expensive" group. Firstly, I do not micro conceal anything. I have rosacea, if I have a bad day I go with more foundation on this area. I had wild acne when I was younger, so I do not get bothered nowadays for a couple of smal pimples. The thing is depending on what you use it for, you will run out of it very quickly or not. For a couple of sun spots or pimples I guess it will be ok but for larger areas like lines, this is not going to last long, and although it may be creamy, it is going to have more waxes than a brush concealer/highlighter, so I imagine the lines of my eye bags are going to look dry after 4 hours. Not for me. But I can appreciate how convenient a pencil is in comparison with a corrector palette & brush. And make it this long lasting in this format, wow, respect for the formulators. And this after the 100% refillable lipstick.

Great to see you back and looking so good! I love what you said about thinking of this as a tool. That makes the price more justifiable. It seems like it will last a long time. I could see that lasting a year for me. Spending $36 on an item that lasts that long isn't bad. I would not spend that if I needed to replace 3-4x year.
@@ariannefowler455 I'm going to see how long it takes me to finish one. If it lasts a long time, I'll likely keep repurchasing it. If it only lasts 2 months, I might have to look for other options.
I've been a bit busy and I didn't get to comment on your surgery video and by the time I could write, you were already out of the hospital and back with a video! It's amazing! I can't believe you just had brain surgery, you're already recovered enough to film and you "only" have a scar that you can easily cover. Damn, when you stop and think about it, science nowadays is truly unbelievable. Anyway, I'm really happy to see you back and even happier to see it's a new video about a Lisa product :) It is indeed a very expensive product (I accidentally chopped off the tip of my pencil today with its own cap and I nearly had a heart attack). I was about to say that people are blowing this out of proportion and getting way too outraged and I decided to compare the amount of product in Victoria Beckham's kajals, which are 38 USD, to the amount in this concealer. DAMN! VB's kajals have 1.2g and Lisa's concealer has 0.04g! 0.04!! That's 30 times less product!! I love Lisa to death and I've followed her since her very first video, but when you also take into account that this was made in Korea and they already make products like this that cost between 5 and 10 USD, it's even more egregious.
@@PlugInKali thanks so much for the well wishes. I'm feeling so good right now. I'm still taking it slow. It's. 0.4g not 0.04g. Did I misspeak? I'd I did I'm sorry. I didn't know that k beauty already had pencils like this. Maybe it's time to do a deep dive on k beauty makeup. Thanks so much for watching today.
Thank you for the review! First and foremost I wish you a speedy recovery 🖤 I will not purchase the pencil as I am perfectly fine with my two pot concealers from MAC and tiny brushes to apply them stratecially. I have broken capillaries and very occasionally a spot, basically good skin. As those "problems" need different solutions regarding colour I decanted tiny amounts of the pot concealers (one cool, one warm) in an old palette and mix them. I do this for at least 15 years so I am used to it and it takes no time 😊 I would need two of these new pencils and I get the convenience yet they are too expensive in my humble opinion.
If you have a system that works for you, you certainly don't need these pencils. I commonly ignore the smaller flaws on my face because I can't be bothered to pull out a pot concealer and brush. This pencil makes it convenient. I'll probably keep purchasing it. Thanks so much for sharing your approach to concealing and thanks for watching.
I have exactly the same pigmentation spot on the side of my cheek, and it is one of the things that bothers me the most, and I have not found another way to fade it that I'm happy with while wearing my typical minimal makeup. So I'm very excited to receive my LE pinpoint concealers in the next day or two! (I got two, with the idea that I'll probably want different shades for camouflaging and for shadow-lifting.) Seeing how well it works for you makes me even more hopeful that it'll be really useful for me. Thanks for the video!
Ooh, I hope you like it. I think my dark spot is from years of sun exposure while driving. Boo! This pencil does such a great job of covering up my pigmentation. I'll certainly pick up the next shade so I can have options when concealing. Thanks so much for watching and I hope you enjoy the new pencils.
It’s great to see you back. Sending lots of hugs. I have nr.1 as well and it works very well. Depending on how long it takes to use, I’ll decide whether or not to repurchase. It’s just soooo expensive 😮
It is expensive, but I love it!!!! It’s so easy to use and shade 3 is a perfect match for me. I will only use it sparingly to cover blemishes, so hopefully it will last awhile.
@@shannonevans2875 I think it's a great addition to any collection for smaller spots. For larger coverage, I think a more conventional concealer or foundation is a better option. I hope this lasts me longer than I'm expecting. 🤞
This is the first video TH-cam recommended to me, so it’s nice to meet you. I’m glad you’re doing well so soon after surgery. I have a similar spot that I can never seem to cover well, nothing sort of “sticks and holds.” I’ve tried the Jones Road, as well as SaltNY concealers. I will definitely pick this up!
@@Elle0704 this is more tenacious than the Jones Road pencil. It stays put when through me touching my face over and over. It's that gel formula that's really different. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. I'm so glad you stumbled across my video. Thanks so much for watching today.
I know this pencil isn't for everyone, but I'm so pleased with how it works for me. It'll be a tool I keep in my tool box for a long time. I'm glad to have been introduced to this. Thanks so much for the well wishes, and making time to watch. I appreciate it.
I’m so glad you are rested and feeling better! Sleep is the best for the body to mend ❤ I cannot bring myself to pay that much for so little product so I may get a similar item for a Korean brand or western alternative like Jones Road. I like the idea of the pencil but I’d use it more for my stubborn under eye black line and that price for a tiny stick 😮
@@Cicelyize thanks so much. I'm glad to be back doing what I enjoy. I didn't know that k beauty brands made pencils like this. Maybe it's time to check out what the competition has. Thanks for letting me know there are other options.
Thanks so much for the well wishes, I'm doing so much better. I really put this pencil through it paces because I'm reviewing it. I'm not the sort to get rid of everything, but rather just the large, obvious spots. I'll use this to lift shadows under my eyes, and for that large hyperpigmentation spot on my face. I think it's a great product.
🎉welcome back and so glad to see you up and about, at your own pace. Great video, I am still on the fence if I need this.😮 But, it is tempting, but not much for the money.... can't wait for her concealer! Value your advice.
It's a pretty steep price tag for the amount of product. I don't know that I would recommend it unless it perfectly solves a problem that you're unable to solve with other products. I like that it's a gel formula, and it wears like a champ. I just wish we were getting more, or it was less expensive. I've heard several people tell me that Asian beauty brands carry similar pencil concealers. I'm going to have to check that out and see if I can find something that's just as wonderful for less! Thanks so much for watching today.
I bought two of these. Yeah I regret it. This product is way too drying for me and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but it doesn’t seem to cover much. 😢glad to see you back by the way.
@@bebebadkon thanks for the well wishes. I'm glad to be back. I'm so sorry that these aren't working for you. I don't find them drying, but they do cling to my dry patches. I have melasma. Mine is hormonal. I work very hard to keep it at bay with tretinoin, and an over the counter La Roche Posay’s new Melb serum ( the purple one) It is working ! I have used for years NARS matte concealer with a very small flat concealer brush from Real techniques. I don’t think they make it anymore. It works and won’t be changing. I get way more product for my money with the NARS concealer. This will get duped by ELF in a year. The price point is insane.
I need to pull out my NARS Soft Matte Concealer and try it for this as well. I'm always looking for the easiest way to solve a problem, and this is pretty easy. The price is astronomical. I normally use regular concealer, but it doesn't have the same effect. Maybe it's the difference in formula or the fact that I'm not a pro makeup artist. Either way, I'll probably continue to purchase this. If it gets duped, I'll try the dupe too!
Lovely to see you back and looking so well. I bought shade 2. I don't think I will re purchase. Its OK but doesn't cover my red mark totally. Have you tried Dior Nude forever concealer? I'm on the hunt for a concealer to cover my under eye bags. Ps love the new background. How are you feeling
I'm taking things slow, so I'm feeling pretty good. I'm off all pain meds, and I'm surprised at how good I feel. What a difference a weeks makes. I have the Dior Backstage, but not the Dior Nude Forever. Are you recommending the Dior, or looking to see if I recommend it?
So happy to see you back! I hope you're healing well. I want to pick up this concealer but I also want to grab one of her new lipsticks... and I can't decide which shade of the lipstick so I just haven't made the purchase 😂
@@laurenw3858 I love the lipsticks. I'm wearing the shade Lisa in this video. I really like the new concealer, but I'm likely to only use it for my really dark spot and shadow lifting under my eyes. That's where it makes the most difference for me. I'll just use regular concealer for the rest. Thanks for the well wishes. I'm doing so much better. 😘
It’s great to see your back! You are doing fantastically! The color options for light-medium neutral skin isn’t great. A few shades are on their to me. I didn’t use their matcher and I’m still afraid they’re going to be too light but the alternatives seemed way too dark. Either way I’m looking really forward to trying Lisa’s pin point correcting. Very few of us of a certain age don’t have little things all on our faces.
Yes, at a certain age, I just saw more and more of those tiny spots. I love the pencil for the ease of use, and how quickly it corrects. It also lasts for hours on the face. I wore it for more than 12 hours the day I filmed this, and I was so impressed. I hope you find a shade that works if you're interested in trying it out.
@ While I’m still waiting for mine to arrive, I’m intrigued by the long wearing aspect. My skin seems to eat makeup. And, yes, as we age more little imperfections seem to appear. Plus, I have rosacea now, lucky me. I decided at some point that my sun spots are just freckles. My grandfather was a redhead so that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
So glad you are feeling better and good enough to have fun with make up. I'm very intrigued by this concealer, as light foundation covers almost everything for me, it's just one or two spots plus under eye darkness, which is structural (I have protruding eyes). So any regular concealer always feels a bit too goopy and too much, no matter how little I use. I love the Bobbi Brown color corrector stick because of its more firm and very thin coverage, I sense this would work well with it. I'll be curious to hear more about how it wears, etc. And knowing she's coming out with other concealers soon, I kind of want to wait and see what the options will be.
I LOVE the Bobbi Brown Concealer stick. It's so good! If you don't have much to conceal, then you should definitely pass. I'm curious about the other concealers she's working on too.
So glad to see you back, and looking amazing. This product seems like an amazing tool, as you stated. I don’t spot conceal, but this product and formula seem top notch

I’m playing catch up with you videos and it’s so nice to see you’re doing ok! This is not for me but I’m always curious about a new Lisa Eldridge pruduct. ”Lisa” looks so good on you! I’m seriously considering getting it.
I love the lipstick in Lisa, it's so good. It's good to know when a product is good for you, and which ones aren't. This one is expensive, but will be in rotation here in my house! Thanks so much for watching today.
I'm wearing the Rouge Experience in the shade Lisa along with the Lip Liner from LE in 1N. Most of what I'm wearing today is from the Lisa Eldridge line. Thanks so much for the well wishes and for making the time to watch today.
I bought one and it arrived yesterday. I think I will mostly use it for the edges of my lips when wearing serious lipstick. I have rosacea and most of the concealing I do is to cover larger areas of redness. I’m actually surprised that this concealer isn’t more opaque. I tried to conceal the redness just around my nose and this wasn’t enough. It also couldn’t cover some of my darker spots. I guess I’m pretty disappointed.
Ooh, I'm sorry. It's an expensive product to have when it's not working for you the way you'd hoped. I really like it in tandem with lipstick to clean up the edge of my lip. I was super impressed in how it made such a change. No more droopy smile.
What I don’t like is the shade range. I got the same shade, as I have rosy undertones. Great for brightening but I would need a deeper shade with cooler undertone for concealing.
I don't think they come in a fair cool more than this one. The next cool shade might be for light skin, and not fair. I'm excited to get shade 2 and try it out. Thanks so much for watching today, and I'm sorry this isn't working the way you'd hoped.
I love LE, but I'm not as impressed with this product as I had hoped. I find it's hard to put on top of sunscreen-doesn't really go on well. Same for moisturized undereyes- doesn't go on well if you have a lot or moisturizer or sunscreen on. Lisa also had said you could put it on first and then put other products over it, and that's not working for me, either- it comes off if I apply on my broken capillaries on my nose, for example, and then put another product on top. I think if I were not wearing sunscreen daily this would be be better, maybe? It's just not lasting and going on over emollient or silicone products like I expected. I do like it for cleaning up lipstick around my mouth/ keeping lipstick neat, but I'm wondering if it's worth paying the price just for that. I also find it's not lasting long for the price of the product. *sigh* Also, I'm still waiting on that LE dark cherry lipstick! Any word?
@@Christine-uf3oj I haven't heard about Bohemian Cherry. 🤷♀️ I wear sunscreen everyday and never have had issues with it. I also wear a lot of other skincare. I'm not sure what's causing problems for you. I'm sorry it's a disappointment.

I totally understand your point of view. I do like the pencil, and the packaging is the same as her eye liners as well as many others. It's still very little product for the price, but I'll continue to use it. Thanks so much for sharing your perspective, and for making the time to watch today.

I knew you would review this. I am interested. I have a couple of broken capillaries. I have lots of fun covering. I am glad to see you feeling better. Don't overdo it. I may very well pick this up. Have a wonderful weekend ❌️ ⭕️
Thanks Lisa, I'm feeling much better. What a difference a week makes. I didn't notice that I had broken capillaries until I started pin point concealing. I just wasn't paying that much attention to my skin up close. Maybe I need new glasses. : ) If you pick this up, I hope it works well for you. Thanks for watching today.
Welcome back and happy to see you are up and filming again.
@@bernicenelson4643 thanks so much for the well wishes. I'm feeling so much better, but I'm taking it slow. 😊
Yay, you’re back! ❤ great video. Interesting product. Sending prayers for healing and little to no discomfort
Thanks so much. I'm finally off all pain meds, and I'm feeling so much better. What a difference a week makes.
Thank you for the review! First and foremost I wish you a speedy recovery 🖤
I will not purchase the pencil as I am perfectly fine with my two pot concealers from MAC and tiny brushes to apply them stratecially. I have broken capillaries and very occasionally a spot, basically good skin. As those "problems" need different solutions regarding colour I decanted tiny amounts of the pot concealers (one cool, one warm) in an old palette and mix them. I do this for at least 15 years so I am used to it and it takes no time 😊
I would need two of these new pencils and I get the convenience yet they are too expensive in my humble opinion.
You look awesome- so glad you’re feeling better!
Thanks so much Sara.
It’s great to see you back. Sending lots of hugs. I have nr.1 as well and it works very well. Depending on how long it takes to use, I’ll decide whether or not to repurchase. It’s just soooo expensive 😮
It is so expensive. I know this product won't be for everyone, but I love it. I'm glad to be back filming. What a difference a week makes.
So glad to see you today and that you are doing well 🥳🎉🎊😀❤ oh I love the lip combo today 😀
Thanks so much, I'm glad to be feeling well enough to film.
Welcome back! ❤❤❤
@@cs-yq5ed thanks. ❤️
Thanks so much for watching today.
glad to see you back! I hope your discomfort will be eased. Thank you for this review. I’m not certain I’ll be purchasing but love other LE products.
Godspeed with your recovery. Thank you for another thoughtful review. I don't try to eliminate every imperfection.
I'm trying to exfoliate and rehydrate my skin after my week off. I'm sure I'll like this pencil better when my skin isn't so dry.
Your voice is so soothing. And wonderful
@@TH-camVideoSEOExpertbd thanks!
@thelipstickgal looking for advice. I don't have it
So happy to see you back!
Welcome back 😊 I’m torn about the product, but there are days it would definitely be useful!
Thanks! Yes there are days it would be useful, but it's very expensive for what you get.
I don’t spot conceal, but this product and formula seem top notch
thanks so much Quincey. It's a great tool, but I know it's not for everyone. Thanks for watching.
You look great! Hopefully, all went well. I agree with your thoughts. I got two chafes according to the grid and one covers well, whilst the other illuminates a bit x
Thanks so much Leslie. I hope you're liking the shades you picked up. I know I'll get a lot of good use out of shade 2.
I'm still waiting for mine to arrive (it's taking an oddly long time ... never waited this long for an LE product before). Anyway, I can't wait to get it. I think it will work well for me. I got shade 1 ... I'm fair cool.
@@JackOllie4 I hope your order comes soon. I really like this pencil. It's been a game changer for my dark hyper pigmentation
spot. Thanks so much for watching today.
So happy to have you back 🩷🩷🩷 I admire your strength and optimism and your undying love of makeup even in hard moments ❤
@@danilibo7005 oh, thanks so much. I'm glad to be back, and it brings me so much joy. It actually makes my day better. ❤️
Welcome back! Glad you're feeling better!! I have the same shade as you and really like the product. I also just ordered shade 3, wondering if the more yellow/golden would deal with the darker purple shades under my eyes since yellow corrector typically works best there
Ooh, maybe I need shades 1-3. I'm glad to be back doing what I love. Thanks for watching.
Welcome back lovely! I hope all went well xxx ❤ You are beautiful inside and out and I need to know what lipstick shade you are wearing x
I'm wearing the Rouge Experience in the shade Lisa along with the Lip Liner from LE in 1N. Most of what I'm wearing today is from the Lisa Eldridge line. Thanks so much for the well wishes and for making the time to watch today.
Hola, ya estás dándolo todo en TH-cam?😅 No te olvides de descansar❤
no te preocupes. Me siento mucho mejor. Besitos.
@@thelipstickgal Me alegro muchísimo💕💕
Glad you are feeling better 😊. Do you think concealer would layer well on top under the eyes?
@@sandramclaughlin9624 thanks so much. I'm glad to be feeling better. I would use liquid concealer first, then this on top of needed.
@ Lisa’s video about a droopy smile helped me a lot. This concealer will help with that too.
I wear sunscreen everyday and never have had issues with it. I also wear a lot of other skincare. I'm not sure what's causing problems for you. I'm sorry it's a disappointment.
❤❤❤❤❤
Extortionate price for so little product!!
It's very expensive. That's my only concern, but I love how well it works, and how easy it is. I'll probably continue to purchase it.
It’s an absolute no for me. I regret supporting LE financially by purchasing her products. It’s price per 1g = the price of 1 g pure gold. Second thing, it screams : environmental damage . Plastic and teeny. Hopefully most people will not fall for this cash grab.
I totally understand your point of view. I do like the pencil, and the packaging is the same as her eye liners as well as many others. It's still very little product for the price, but I'll continue to use it. Thanks so much for sharing your perspective, and for making the time to watch today.
@ I have many LE products, 90% of which I haven’t even opened . I’m not going to discard them either. I’m just not going to repurchase her brand unless she puts money grabbing , environment unfriendly strategy aside. I’ve discovered wonderful eye shadows thanks to my disappointment with LE- silver linings 😊
It’s a miracle lol I love it so much!!!! 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍 glad I got 2 it’s perfect it’s great for red spots and brown spots and it adheres so well to… glad you are back hope u are feeling better love the black background!
