I'm 69 and saw Freebird first done by the orig. Skynyrd band in '73 and again in '74 and a couple times later too. But don't you get it.....this is NOT this generation's music. If you're a Boomer like me I doubt you could get into hard core rap music. It's easy to understand. Each generation has it's own vibe and you just can't get past it. It's locked into each's own soul.
I love freebird, i can play ut note for note, all 3 guitar parts, but the audience were born is 2014 dude....they like awful trash like Billy Eilish and mumble rap.
The entire audience should be sent to detention for acting like they were in detention. Not the best cover I have ever heard, but these young people rocked a real classic anthem. Whether you like Skynyrd or not, this is what was shouted at clubs in the late 70 and early 80s. Maybe you just have to be older to appreciate.

Are all kids now braindead? This high school band played a killer version of Freebird" maybe not Skynyrd quality but very good and all the seated audience could do was a mild clap!
