    So that’s how NJT treats 4910? Lol

    • @davidng2336
      @davidng2336 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      4910 is owned by Metro-North. But you’re right to say NJT is operating it.

    6050's K5LA sounds like it got it's 1 bell replaced with a 1L bell (Correct me if I'm wrong)

      @FanRailer I know that was like 2 years ago, but that would make it a hybrid K5LLA right?

    How hard is it to close the number boards after doing repairs smh

      When you're dealing with union workers who probably can't read instructions, have "lifetime jobs" and couldn't care less about what they do, something like that is very easy. My question. Didn't the engineer notice it? If he/she did, why not close them on your own? Oh, I know. Not in my job description.

    I wonder if Metro North is still considering the replacement of their current fleet with Siemens Chargers. Also are the NJT F40PHs always going to operate as a pair, or will they be used separately like what they did for the PTC shortage?

    • @finnleystaub5936
      @finnleystaub5936 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's up to Metro-North themselves if they want to use those. If you *really* want them to use Siemens Chargers, you can tell them yourself by signing up to speak at the board meeting later this month.

      I’d have to say it’s a tie between 6000 and 6004, especially since they have Airchime K5LAs. Not a huge fan of the raised letters, even though they sound good.

      Also, does the GP40FH-2 (4905's class) count as the cousin to the F40PH?

    • @davidng2336
      @davidng2336 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s more related to the GP40PH-2 at this point, but essentially it’s an F40 and GP40 in one (although the cowling comes from F45s).

    It’s cool that you drive a Prius because you get great gas mileage for these trips you take. Right now I drive an HHR, it gets about 23 mpg, my mother owns a 2013/14 Prius and she was considering to pass it over to me, I don’t disagree because it gets a good 53/55 mpg. But anyways nice video!!
