Please dont feed him human food, refering to the cake in this case. Its a good idea to check what dogs can eat before feeding it.
    Chat GPT :
Chocolate Cake: Chocolate is toxic to dogs due to the presence of theobromine and caffeine. The darker the chocolate, the more dangerous it is. Ingesting chocolate cake can lead to symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, rapid breathing, increased heart rate, seizures, and, in severe cases, it can be fatal.
Xylitol: Xylitol is a sugar substitute commonly found in sugar-free cakes, gum, and other products. It is highly toxic to dogs and can cause a rapid release of insulin, leading to hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). Symptoms of xylitol poisoning in dogs include vomiting, loss of coordination, seizures, and, in severe cases, liver failure.
High Sugar and Fat Content: Cakes are often high in sugar and fat, which can lead to gastrointestinal upset, including vomiting and diarrhea, in dogs. Long-term consumption of high-fat foods can contribute to pancreatitis, a painful and potentially life-threatening condition.
Artificial Additives: Some cakes may contain artificial additives and food colorings that can be harmful to dogs if ingested in large amounts. These additives can cause gastrointestinal upset or allergic reactions.
Raisins and Grapes: Certain types of cakes may contain raisins or grapes, which are toxic to dogs and can lead to kidney failure if consumed.
Nuts: Cakes with nuts, such as macadamia nuts or walnuts, can be harmful to dogs. Macadamia nuts, in particular, are known to be toxic to dogs and can cause weakness, vomiting, and other symptoms.

Hi, thanks for information. It's really happy to see how some humans like you really care about a pet's health. Keep it up👍🏻🙂 our pet was having home cooked food since a puppy and when we came to know certain ingredients were toxic, we either completely stopped giving her or gave her in a very little quantity if she asks for it. Our lucky ma is now no more. Luckily she was healthy till her 13th year🙏🏻

You are worried about pulling him by neck, but wasnt concerned about the chocolate cake? they can handle the pull on the neck but not the chocolate cake.
