In this video Andre Galvao looks back on his match with Braulio Estima for the ADCC 2013 Super Fight Title. Andre had previously lost to Braulio Estima by inverted triangle back at ADCC 2009.
In 2011 Galvao came back to the ADCC much more motivated and prepared. That year he took home double gold winning the 88kg division and the Absolute positioning himself for a rematch with Estima.
In this video Andre reflects on his training and preparation for the match and how the fight went down ending with a submission for him to become the new ADCC King.
Andre Galvao has since defended his super fight title against Roberto "Cyborg" Abreu at ADCC 2015 and then his former team mate Claudio Calasans in 2017 and then against one of his rivals Felipe Pena at ADCC 2019.
Now Andre Galvao will soon be defending his ADCC crown for the last time against Gordon "The King" Ryan at ADCC 2022.

I remember either rolling or talking to a gentleman named Stuart I don't remember where. Hi Stuart just wondering will you be there next week at ADCC to film some stuff and also who do you think will win the Super Fight?
I’ll be there watching as a fan in the audience. I won’t be filming this year. Flo have the video rights and unfortunately I won’t be doing the highlight.
I don’t know what will happen with the superfight? Galvao always comes in super prepared. I’ve seen how hard that guy works. But Gordon is big, strong, young and very skilled. He’s an incredible competitor. He’s doing his weight division first so it depends how tough his matches are. He could be tired after his weight division. But I doubt it. He knows how to pace himself.
Galvao should have the advantage in wrestling though and he knows this ruleset very well. It’s going to be interesting. I can’t wait for it!
