Shadow Ridge High School Soccer Showdown Vs Silverado Soccer Highlights

Here are awesome highlights from our game against the Shadow Ridge High School soccer team.
We were first to score but then Shadow Ridge high school scored which shifted the momentum back in their favor for the rest of the game. However, I did get to showcase some of my goalkeeper training and talents.
The one thing that separates a good goalkeeper from a great goalkeeper is their ability to not give up the ball. I have been practicing catching and holding the ball for years - a concept that was first taught to me by a US National Team goalkeeper trainer. Since then, I've been practicing catching the ball - both while standing and while diving. In this game, I caught a hard shot while diving which makes all the hard work worth it.
While our team ended up losing the game, I had a lot of fun and was happy to see the countless hours of training starting to pay off.
