A storm is breaking in the Magnificent Century!
The awaited confrontation between Hürrem and the Sultana happens.
Sultan Suleiman comes back from the campaign and his return is enough to get things messy in harem again.
Will Hürrem lose her beauty?
Things don't get easy in harem. The rebellion bursting out causes Hürrem to be wounded heavily. Hürrem is determined to set the scores for what happened. She doesn't hesitate to confront with the Sultana. She tells the Sultana that she has told Sultan Suleiman everything. The Sultana is sure that her son won't believe these allegations. However Hürrem has already had the letter to be written by someone very close to Sultan Suleiman. As the Sultana learns she won't be able keep calm.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

This episode proves Again that Suleiman never loved Hurrem for her beauty, which is good. In real history too Hurrem was never beautiful, quite the contrary, however Suleiman was madly in love with her personality and intelligence, and I assume with her beautiful red hair too! ☺️☺️

I’m on episode 93 which is pretty advanced and only then you can tell the improvement when you come back and watch clips of earlier episodes. Everything improved so much as the series went on it’s almost like it’s a different show. The camerawork, the lightening, the backgrounds etc.. it’s so refreshing. The budget was really well spent on such a magnificent plot👍🏼

Everything except the writing improved. That part it got worse.
The fact that the acting is very well done… I wonder how Halit Ergenç’s wife reacted to this! I mean, those scenes of love, his wandering eyes… It seems all too real! Great actors give great drama! That’s why this series are timeless!
What they had was a true love... a very deep love. And Hurrem was not a person as it was portrayed in this series. She dedicated her life to charity. A very noble woman
