I didn’t pay attention to the thumbnail image : i looked only at the title and i thought it would be about a giant worm or something like that.
Strong reminiscent of Kingdom here. But they both look good.
My proposition : Peninsula : Train to Busan 2(2020).
I just watched Peninsula last night!
@@CarnageCounts nice ! How was it ?
My first thought also was Kingdom. Gonna seek this out.
@@CarnageCounts Your thoughts on Peninsula?
@@luciebureau6815 I liked it! It was like Mad Max had a baby with 28 Days Later, but then Snake Plissken had to come rescue that baby. Over all I was engaged. One caveat though, the over use of CGI was irritating at points.
Pretty unique setting for a zombie flick
You should watch KINGDOM. Same setting, with Train for busan vibes, and some Games of thrones inside also.
😎
Why do I feel like this comment is sarcastic
@@mtfiota-10multiverse36 🙃agreed
Honestly, i beleave movie studios should play more with Zombies in medieval settings, it is certainly scarier that in modern settings due to its older technology, but not impossible to survive as shown here. Thats why i love Rampant and Kingdom, both, while nerfing the zombies, achieve it expectacularly.
Fun Fact :
director of this movie is Kim Sung Hoon.
director of Kingdom is Kim Sung Hoon, too.
but they just have same name.
we really need more zombie flicks taking place in the middle ages and whatnot. Like something during the Renaissance or something with knights or possibly the 1800s in the pilgrim ages (and no i'm not counting Army of Darkness since technically it involved all manner of supernatural along with zombies).
@Ian Joaquin Harder eh i've seen a few of them. Heck they did a Lincoln Zombie Killer film a few years back (rip off of vampire hunter but actually a bit decent :/). But we rarely get any taking place during the times of kings and knights and whatnot :/
I remember seeing the trailer and thought it was a pretty cool concept.
I agree, what of zombies happened in a different era? How would society react?
@Ian Joaquin Harder depends on where/what you're referring to like civil war or something? Cause that would fall under that lincoln zombie killer film i mentioned
@@TrickiVicBB71 ikr? looking back on it im surprised how rarely, if ever, it's done :/!
zombie film set during the Napoleonic wars, instead of Europe killing each other, a coalition convinces stubborn napoleon to join forces to destroy the zombie horde. Have large scale line battles and cav charges vs zombies with the different nations of europe.
Why does this seem like a Kingdom sequel?
its kind of a kingdom prequel
Unfortunately it's not
I think the outbreak that happen in this movie was just slightly later than the outbreak happened in Kingdom
The weirdest part is when they had guns
Well, the setting is almost the same, but the characters and plot sequence is quite different. I dont know if the movies were made by the same studio or if they have any kind of relationship between them, but i wouldnt be surprised if Rampant came out as a "test" for Kingdom
What's even worse than a zombie apocalypse, a zombie apocalypse in the old centuries
"It was me"
-Albert Wesker, from the future of 20XX.
This looks more like hundreds Years before the Event of 'Train to Busan'. Right?
Indeed...and very like this movie than train to busan because this movie has a sword fight...it reminds me with samurai warriors...
Or in line with Kingdom.
My favorite movie: Horse drawn carriage to busan
My brother literally watched this and told me more about the zombies in this movie. They're called night demons, they're nocturnal, they also die by either the head or heart. And they're quick when they spot food. And Thier moans literally almost sound like demons a bit
Update: i still watch this movie
I just love Genre-Blenders, and the Historic Korea setting is seriously under-utilized!
You will love Kingdom on Netflix. Maybe one of the best shows I've seen.
South Koreans: Can We Watch "Walking Dead"?
South Korean Government: We have "Walking Dead" at home.
*"Walking Dead" in South Korea:*
Bruh
I think this is a korean movie
You mean, Korean Government
7:29 Reminds me episode of Samurai Jack fought against army of undead on graveyard
Kingdom Season 2 (2020)
Peninsula (2020)
REC 4: Apocalypse (2014)
Chernobyl Diaries (2012)
Demons 2 (1986)
La casa dell'orco (1988)
Colin (2008)
Return Of The Living Dead 5 : Rave On The Grave (2005)
킹덤은?were is kingdom
Train to Busan?
For a second I thought this was Kingdom Season 2, until I saw the title but hey great movie!
So, 3:36 to 3:38, he had a Dante Sparda moment, with that astounding spin slice thingy. He really represents the DMC franchise there!
I've gotta say
Zombie flick set in a time of swords and spears instead of fully automatic weapons is an interesting concept.
Certainly makes the spread of an outbreak a hell of a lot more believable when every other bush doesn't have a rifle behind it!
Never stop making these.
Hey Carnage Counts which is harder for you to count kills in. A: Nuclear explosions or B: Things being gunned down almost offscreen
so what was the deal with the dude in red? i'm assuming he's the crown prince (or rather king seeing as the king got zombiefied and killed), he got bit yet for some reason didn't turn, is he immune? if he's immune why is he fighting alongside the zombies? is he planning of world conquest via zombies?
@Rozen 678 *King
@Rozen 678 ahhhh...still im calling king though because i failed at a subject that i wouldn't talk about
1:06 when the corona hits you hard
the animals were the saddest deaths in the entire carnage count series
9:15 full satisfaction. from 7:00 to 8:30 this guy is literally going on a 1v 1000. and yet he still wins. amazing. and right after th building burns, everyone is going nuts just killing everyone
Love your videos as always!
I was used to se only the genre of zombies in ww1 ww2, western and modern settings, but this its kinda unique and refreshing
Train to busan without trains = #alive, #alive in ancient times = Rampant, Rampant as a tv series = Kingdom, kingdom with dragons = Game Of Thrones.
And that is math!
I never get tired of zombie movies.
Cool
Awesome as always, friend. Happy early Halloween!
Spectacular.
One: is this a kingdom spin off
Two: ghost of tsushima is scarier than it looks
And three: when did korea made better zombie movies than us
When Train to Busan came out.
I can't think of a zombie film the US made that was good in the last 20 years, in fact, what is the last great US horror film made?
These zombie performances were actually pretty freaking great
This was actually good to watch.
One thing I can say about this and Kingdom is that those Koreans have some sick top hats.
Awesomeness video please do more thanks
This was absolutely amazing if you ask me, you can tell they put effort in this!
I LOVE THIS VIDEO
+CarnageCounts Nice intense.
Howdy those are some nice count you got there
This looked pretty awesome!
of course the zombie doesn't swarm the prince because of how much aura he have lol
Faz um Carnage Count de Lovecraft Country: Season One (2020)
They're really getting innovative with zombie outbreaks
This reminds me of another move you guys did i think it was called kingdom
Why doesn't the video come up every 8 hours?
This has been a tough month and we have been dealing with life stuff at the moment. Not a lot of energy towards making videos.
@@CarnageCounts sorry to hear that! Hopefully everything works itself out thanks for still taking the time to upload videos through whatever you're doing :)
@@ImmortalWombat Thank you for being understanding :)
Animal death warning: live chicken is pinned down and then decapitated (thankfully, the actual beheading happens off screen).
I gotta say I like this idea! Zombie outbreak in ancient times (as in, no guns) sounds like a pretty epic idea. Much more tension without guns, bombs and missiles, you know? (Yeah I know there are guns in this, but they're rare compared to modern zombie media)
If this isn't the case yet, this kinda thing should be in a cartoon/anime. Like I've said before about cartoons, there's no limit!
Is this in the same universe as 'Kingdom'?
Kingdom was amazing, I just hope they release season 3 soon
I thing this video is "Kingdom"
@@dumahdrummer654 Agreed. A brilliant show.
Sort of! This movie is what inspired the show kingdom! And yes the show is brilliant! Love koreas take on the zombie genre very cool.
Thanks for my Request!
I thought this is Kingdom lol
We were almost at 300
One of the best Zombie movie and best chinese movie
Also, in 3:41, did that zombie scream when he threw him?
Im earlly btw nice intro at every vid nice
Keep up with the good vids 👌🏾👍🏾
This really reminded me of Kingdom.
@2:20 that’s the antagonist from train to busan!
Yon suk?
Fresh
GOOD VIDEO,I LIKE YOU VIDEOS
2:21 isnt he the evil dude from train to busan?? or am i mistaken?
I got to find this movie and add it to my collection
Wait this is like that Netflix serie, cant remember the name tho
Kingdom
Also, keep in mind folks. The kill count was at 136 when the guy in white went into that palace. Several minutes later, the kill count is 278. Talk about a one man army.
CC, can you make video Train to Busan : Peninsula carnage counts? Request it!
Zombies and a war looks good haha
요즘 한국영화가 자주 보여서 좋다 헤헤
나는 한국 영화 보는 것을 좋아한다! 아주 좋아요!
0:09 Screaming
Hyun Bin, doing some dinasty warrior shit by himself.
Watched it, this shit is pretty good
I need a zombie movie in the medieval age , and also need a predator movie in the medieval age
Fighting scenes were entertaining but I do wish Zombie stuff would go back to good ol George A Romero gore and dismembering, like if all the Zombies are gonna do is numb-numb on people’s necks they might as well be vampires.
Great carnage count choice... This was a Zombie film of epic proportions!
Are you gonna do a carnage count for the abcs of death 2.5 and the sandman attack the block
thank you
Fighting zombies without guns is always 100s of times worse
Damn somehow missed this one ' added to future watch list .
Had some real " kingdom " vibes to it .
🖒🍁🍀🍻
Can you do darkman 2 carnage count?
Crouching Dead, Hidden Zombie.
Well that was gory as hell
My god 291 kills!!!! Very impressive numbers, what movie has the most kills in carnage counts history?
Sharknado Franchise
A really cool year to add a zombie apocalypse to
This is a piece to kingdom
For the next one can you do shin godzilla please. That movie has quite alot of deaths. Besides we haven't got a monster movie kill count in a while. Last one you did was love and monsters so I think shin godzilla should be next. You dont have to do it the next video I'm just saying I think you should do it when you have the chance or want to
I remember hearing about this movie _before_ Kingdom came out, so I think they're unrelated. Not too surprising, South Korea seems to be having a big zombie boom, so two directors making productions in their medieval period isn't that weird.
Now it's a lot like Mulan meets Resident Evil!
Have you done the Netflix zombies show Kingdom ? It’s got a lot
Yep. We did it!
Please! Make the Corpse Count of Carrie (2002)
PLEASE! Take on of my requests for this Corpse Counts, take at least one of mine.
I can't wait Kingdom season 2
Dude was awesome he didn't get bit once
Quick question, since it is a movie with zombie should tou not count them twice since they die twice ?
I think its been a while since we saw a body count this high.
This is how a zombie movie should look like
It looks like Kingdom movie, but in other place of joseon dinasty
Please do cockneys vs zombies
alternative title:#Alive but no hashtags because its medieval
Not bad underrated movie
So I wonder if this is the same series as Kingdom but a different adaptation like how there’s multiple Batman continuities
Zombies in mid evil japan? Can be evil spirit or virus make
The concept, story, character death arrangements are all excellent....my only disappointment for the film is lack of gore. (which perhap is something Korea couldn't allow to go ffar)
Indeed there are beheadings, arms being chopped off, chewed alive, etc. But the zombies could've been more violent with ripping people alive or pulling their guts out to show out more of their zombie characteristics, rather than just chewin n biting.
Aside that, this movie is still great, last time i felt afraid of zombies were the 28days/week later movies.
I thought this was a documentary on the covid-19 outbreak?
zombie carnages are great counts
Don't know if it's as good as kingdom, doesn't look like it has the unique cast that the previous show had
I think they just wanted to do the same thing, but with a different cast, but this does feel like a Kingdom clone.
This is prequel of KINGDOM
