I dont want to buy lol but i really want to but i want filipino to be successful not other countryy pilipino buy other countrys restaurant but not ours dum people
Kung pwede lang talaga ako na mag trabaho na, gustong-gusto ko sanang mag apply sa IKEA huhu. Tsaka ang sarap siguro sa feeling na mag trabaho sa itinuturing na "World's Largest IKEA Store"
Single items from Ikea will be much cheaper than what you can find in a mall in the Philippines. In the rural provinces it will be cheaper to get bespoke furniture made (also the selection of wood will be much higher quality). Can't help but wonder if the market will be there though, as most locals prefer to save their money.
There is no harm in trying. Those with experience are for managerial positions. The rank and file are entry level positions. You just need to prove that you enjoy interacting with people.
Don't forget the palakasan system still reigns supreme in the Philippines. Those who have high positions will bring in their friends and relatives first. It's very prevalent in the government and it's definitely still the major "system" followed in all companies.

Looks like a threat to the local furniture shops.
That's capitalism for you. You have to be smart to compete and win the game not just creative.
On the other hand, they can be suppliers to Ikea. At least we can finally buy their products at a more reasonable price.
