I used to collect the Perplexus (Perplexi?) up until around four or five years ago. They started releasing so many that I couldn't keep up. I believe there are a couple of Perplexus/Rubik's Cube crossovers now!
Using contacts with the ball to engage music or sound fx is a really neat idea, even if the execution is bad. Its crazy hearing hold old this is. I remember seeing them the more toy oriented hobby shops and the like, and thinking it was too much. Just watching you makes me anxious about the thought of having to start over lol This must have been a nightmare to try and film!
I wish this type of game was more common. Perplexus seems to be the only real self contained unit of this type that is mass produced! If anyone has recommendations for others, please let me know, because i love all these so much!
