it does work but it leaves a build info log at the bottom of the desktop screen. which is fine if you're barely at your desktop screen. otherwise, it's just another watermark but only for the desktop screen
this does not work on windows 10 the activate windows watermark will appear 3 or 4 hours after you turn on the pc again

paintdesktopversion defalut set to 0 just leave it, if turn on 4 if give windows 11 pro and serial number, set 0 if it will go away, my windows is different so he may had different effect

yes this and others only remove it for short time then it is back. I am going to reinstall windows keeping existing files, and see if that works.
I did what you did in the video, restarted my pc and it was not there. But it came back after a few hours just like @GeneralGiggleMuffin said below. Thank you anyway. But can you explain what is happening and help us with that too?
This works perfectly for the watermark, but it gets flagged by many anti-cheats for gaming

I thought it was going to be the slmgr -rilc and slmgr -rearm from command prompt. This way is better for permanently removing watermark. But using slmgr does actually activate your windows for 30 days and you can do it 3 times.

@@Anonymous-zm8gy This does work for customers that I have had. I typically don't need it on my computers. I don't put a KMS activator on customer computer or an AIO pre-activated windows on customer computers. This will also work on windows servers, but it only lasts 10 days on windows servers.
I followed your instructions on this message removal but it came back the next day,so rather diapointed by this hack.

Yeah it came back for me. very disappointing.
As of today, I tried this and it does not work, MS probably patched it. Not sure if it actually did work, simply because if you have the watermark and you just restart your computer, it goes away for a few hours and then comes back. What happens when you edit the registry? You need to restart. It's just a placebo now. You're going to end up with only only the new watermark that tells you what version of windows you have, but the activation one will return as well.
I wouldn't have worried about removing it myself, but my key was invalid and I'm awaiting a replacement one, in the meantime I have to sit there and look at it, ugh.

Why not show us how to hack the OS operating system to delete the line of code in that system because everything is coded okay everything has binary numbers so if you remove that line of code and delete it problem is solved so how do we hack our computer to get rid of that image or text because it is a file it is a data it is a code and a code can be erased and altered
And what programs and tools do I need or hardware do I need in order to get rid of it unless if it's a solid hardware component on a motherboard that installs that data of program then how do we access that little memory chip and destroy it because I believe that the programmers of the operating system are extremely stupid and have an actually made that line of code as a Achilles heel as the heart of the operating system meaning if you remove it the operating system ceases to function because it requires that specific code to operate it like your heart if you remove your heart your dead so I believe that this code is not like that whatsoever because it wouldn't make any sense because I would make the whole operating system faulty and hackable and therefore tons of lawsuits so how what hardware and what stuff do we need in order to hack our computers operating system to remove that line of code because it's definitely a code and it can definitely be erased look at Linux if you can mess with that you can mess with Microsoft's operating system

@@reeltylerkent It says "Windows 10 Home Build 19041.vb_release.191206-1406" but thankfully it is only on the desktop and does not overlay anything except the wallpaper that we can't change. Better this than the watermark so far!

If you don't have proper solution, don't post videos and waste others time.. Instead of doing so much circus as posted in your video, we could simply restart the system and watermark will disappear for 3 hours which is the same if one would follow the steps in your video...
