you could make a handle on yuor crochet hooks with polmer clay its really comfy to hold
OK, I know I’m at John a little crazy. I use the Burnett like blanket a lot and I use a 4 m hook. I know that’s gonna sound crazy but that’s what works for me so maybe you can try it out too.

I used Bernat blanket yarn all the time, so the hook size that you are using the wrong hook size, the size for the hook for the yarn is actually a 8 millimeter hook.
