I took my son there last Christmas. He loves all things Australia. He and I tried the kangaroo. It was delicious! You have to think of it as an experience not just fine dining
My west coast friends that visit here are always blown away at how attentive the service is. Regardless of restaurant. Here you get your drinks, and your food far faster than they’re used to. It’s shocking to them. Always makes me smile.
It is my favorite for fine dining at Barefoot. We went there for the first time last year and just bought a condo there. The day the movers came, we celebrated there.
I have been going there for 15 years…best place to eat on the Grand Strand. Great bar too.
So they have Amber wine. Glad you went and tried it for all of us!
Nice place to go for a drink at the bar. Nice view of the waterway.
We go there for special occasions like birthdays, out of state visitors, etc. and enjoy it everytime. Food is delicious, drinks are generous, and service is always good. Had nice water views and seating is comfortable. Love going there but strongly recommend getting a reservation or you could have a long wait for a table.
Was there last year and loved it . My wife and I just relocated to Surfside from NJ and were delighted with our meals. I had the Kangaroo and Scallops she had a perfectly cooked steak. My only gripe was the Kangaroo states it is braised but it was certainly seared rare. Although excellent the menu verbiage should denote that. The scallops were the best I’ve had in a very long time, accompaniments were also very well paired with each of our meals. After visiting many restaurants in the area this is our top even beating out Ruth Chris. CANT WAIT TO GO BACK!

Didn't know it was there will try it next time when we go to beach
We went there for my birthday a year or 2 ago. The food was decent but i think it's many more places in north Myrtle and Myrtle Beach that cost much less and have as good, or better food. The atmosphere was nice, but I'd rather go to flying fish or hook and barrel in Myrtle Beach compared to here

We have a boat and enjoy eating by the water we always eat at LuLu’s (messy hair & bathing suit cover-ups) we feel very welcomed there. I would rather save the extra $$ on food and get something nice from their gift shop. Thank you for your honesty with Greg Norman’s it looks beautiful and I’m sure that $500.00+ cocktail is not expensive to some people but definitely not us!!! Good times all around for sure!!🥃🥃🦘🪶🤑
the 3 times I went, its was decent food, but overly posh for my vibes. but the food was good. I went for one of their Thanksgiving events. I did enjoy that, everyone made sure I didn't feel alone..as there wasn't many people on the day.

Have been for lunch. Casual dress is fine and prices are more reasonable.
Not been and not sure if we will go this year. With prices of everything going up and talk of gas gonna be $6 a gal come Aug, we may stick to some of our favorites that aren’t as expensive and support them and their increase. Hope that made sense lol The salmon and sweet potato mashed looked really good! Thanks for sharing!

I got home from Myrtle about 1 week and a half ago. I am still so depressed not to be there. :'( Seriously.
I felt same way 15 yrs ago, moved to Myrtle, lived there 10 yrs and was soon over it. Living there different then visiting. No identity, noone is from there. Missed hometown, family, friends....moved back home. Don't miss it

Have been to BFL many times but never noticed this restaurant. We’re handicapped is it easy too fine and parking near by?? We’re visiting over the Christmas Holidays. Any recommendations or advice would be welcomed. Thank you 🙏
Yes, there is parking directly beside the restaurant with ADA spots as well!
Yep, the 4 summer there, always make our way to Barefoot. Told wife many times that Greg Norman was expensive. You give my wife all the crabs she can eat, she's happy. That's why we always go to ayce like The Original Captain Benjamin's.
I do admit on menu roo or Ostrich sounds interesting to try.
I have not been there and I will only go there if someone else is buying lol

I’m sitting here tripping over you’re $15 drink cause I no longer drink so I can’t wrap my head around those prices……. But then you show the bourbon and I was like 🤯
I also don’t really drink a lot and often hesitate to order drinks out because you can make them so much cheaper at home but we do splurge every once in a while.
That is most definitely not fine dining, It may be fine dining for the people who vacation in Myrtle Beach!

Kangaroo meat was good there.
