I don't know why, but it made me cry. I walkthrough Life Is Strange a year ago, and it is my favourite game now. The whole year passed, and it is like it was yesterday, when I clicked "Start game". I am so fascinated until now by this game. The soundtrack, the plot, the graphics, the characters. And this video reminded me of all feelings I felt, while playing LiS, so I started crying. It is just... Overwhelming. UPD: 6 years have passed since i've finished Life is Strange, and i still can't get over it. i replayed it multiple times, and i still come back to it time to time. i guess this game just engraves into your soul.
Played it back in 2018, been thinking about it a lot lately (not the first time). "i guess this game just engraves into your soul" that stood out because I've been saying it stained/marked mine, whatever they tapped into in this game, it's hauntingly powerful. It's unlikely, but if you haven't played LiS: BtS, especially the Farewell DLC, my god, do yourself a favor/disservice and ruin yourself all over again.

this has me on the verge of tears, so much tragedy, despair, death, warmth, love, happiness, dreams, all wrapped up in a little ball we call Arcadia Bay.
It's really unexplainable how this game made me feel after playing it. At that time, must be in mid 2016, I was 11/12 years old and a typical First-Person shooter player. At that time I saw that the Episode 1 was for free on steam, for some reason I thought "why not" and downloaded and played it. It was so beautiful and good that I bought the rest of the game and finished it in the couple next day. Crying my eyes out at the ending and watching gameplay of big youtubers I liked, who did a Let's play on that game at release. To this day I couldn't get myself to play this game one more time, because I well know it will crush my heart at the end. Nonetheless it's the most wonderful and beautiful game I was ever able to play, aesthetic, music and story wise. I am grateful for DONTNOD making this game. There are always moments in my life, where I think of this game or listen to some of the music that have a big impact in the game, which give me instant flashbacks and goosebumps. LiS 2 and Before the storm I did watch as a Let's play, but sadly haven't played myself. The 3rd LiS I started watching as a Let's Play but didn't finish. Still a wonderful world that got created for us, who one way or another come to play those games
Right? I feel exactly the same. I played it for the first time when I was 14 and it had such a huge impact on how I perceived the world around me, how to noticed details, how I looked at the people at my school, my friends, how I handled heavy topics like bullying or suicide. The game made me more confident in myself while not being one of the „cool kids“ at school, taught me that it’s fine to be more shy and observant. During those teenage years, it helped me so much in finding out what kind of person I want to be. Every now and then on the bus, I would listen to some of the soundtrack. Even years later, the music goes straight to my heart and gives me an immediate time-out from my everyday life. Like Max when sitting down somewhere in the game. Now I’m 21 and I recently downloaded it again. I go to university now, have my own home in a city far away from my quiet hometown. I found a partner and a completely different life. Playing it again as an adult felt so weirdly nostalgic. The game itself already had a nostalgic feeling to it, even back then, but now after all this time I couldn’t help but tear up as the title music started playing again. This game will always be special!

Hello! I would like to thank you for the awesome work you do here. The beautiful shots in this video have served as reference for a LIS-inspired painting I'm currently working on. I'm not an amazing artist and it sure won't look like an exact copy of the frame that inspired the painting, but it's been a blast to work on so far, and it's all thanks to the work you did. +René Albrechtsen They probably used the console commands to enable the free camera. Just google "life is strange free cam" and look at the first 4 results, but beware, the camera is rather hard to control and it takes some practice to make some good screenshots/clips.
