Oppenheimer is without a doubt the best film of 2023, and will probably go down as one of the most incredible achievements in cinema history. The acting, the writing, the cinematography, the directing and the score are all executed brilliantly, watching this in IMAX is such a phenomenal experience.
Acting and writing I disagree, it is garbage
@@nikitamakarov3623 Saying you dont like the writing is fine, to each their own. But to say the performances were "garbage" is objectively wrong and you should go to the nearest hospital to make sure you don't have wet brain syndrome.

@BestNiggaAlivenice username
@BestNiggaAliveas a fan of both the MI-franchise and cristopher nolan i cannot understand your choice. Fallout was way better than dead reckoning. Dead reckoning had some good sequences like the opening scene, the desert and especially venice but the airport scene in abu dhabi, car chase in rome and the whole train sequence in austria were old, lazy and not innovative enough. We have all seen those scenes for 13 years. In 2023 we can expect new better things. That is why oppenheimer is better to me. However the alley scene in venice when ilsa dies and ethan is running, that scene is hauntingly beautifull though
Ladies and Gentlemen, Oppenheimer has won 7 Academy Awards:
Best Editing
Best Original Score
Best Cinematography
Best Supporting Actor
Best Leading Actor
Best Director
Best Picture
Best director “Christopher Nolan “
in Nolan's case, It will be Legendary Cinematography
Mate. Not only were you able to make an amazing video, but you were able to get such high definition of the footage from the film as well. I was blown away by how all the clips looked so sharp and crisp. I can't believe I'm seeing visuals on TH-cam that I only got to see in theaters as well. I appreciate that so much from you.
This movie is streaming in OTT. Prime movies i think.
It’s already streaming in HD so that’s why the quality looks crisp
The digital version got leaked. It’s meant to come out on Blu-ray in the coming days
the 1080p blu-ray leaked early, the 4k one is releasing in a couple weeks.
Yes, by downloading it illegally.
Winner of 7 Academy Awards, including Best Picture
Yes it is
My favorite movie of 2023 and one of my favorites from Nolan, the direction is incredible, the actors are excellent, the sound design, visuals and tension management are fascinating, Ludwig's Soundtrack is Perfect, in several aspects it is worthy of several Oscars, the best I have seen in a long time in a cinema
For me it is the second best film of 2023 after Spiderman Across The Spiderverse
@@carlosdanielcalderonmontoy3723😂marvel insects spotted😂
Sorry to be offensive!
But bro spiderman across the spider verse is not better than oppenheimer...
Still everyone has its own choice!

The best films of 2023:
Oppenheimer :D
Killers of the flower moon
Past lives
Spider man across the spider verse
John Wick 4
Barbie
@@DinoxGuy xD
@@carlosdanielcalderonmontoy3723 it was great, but Oppenheimer was better :) But you're right to think the way you think, to each his preference after all
This entire movie is an amazing shot.
It’s beautiful
More like two millions of shots. Because the editor couldn't keep a single shot for over three seconds.
We should see RDJ collaborating with more directors like nolan .. cause he is too precious in this .. the charisma .. the acting .. he was amazing
He gave the X-factor to the movie.
My man has come a long way.🥲
And he is again back to Marvel.
Oppenheimer came out on my birthday and I can't lie, it was the best birthday gift I have ever received.
Murphy and Nolan winning Oscar’s tonight as well as Ludwig for best music is truly deserved for this masterpiece of a film
This movie should win the best Cinematography in Oscar. And also Nolan's Ideo of using black/white in this film is also a brilliant choice. Definitely 10/10.
it does..
This movie is the epitome of film-editing. I hope they get an Oscar for that. To portray dialogue and drama without letting the audience loose interest and to make it sound so much epic. This an the social network are my favourite for editing.
What is for you film editing? Not holding a shot for over 3 seconds for example?
@@r.c.c.10 or holding it long enough to give just enough information. It can vary. But for me to make dialogue king, is a work of a great film editor. He makes you listen and not skip.
@@simranlongiaa Yeah, I agree. But I think this editing achieved the opposite thing with its overly fast cutting. It was more focus on building up for something that would never come rather than on what was happening at the moment.
Hollywood needs filmmakers like Nolan more than ever
Yes. Nolan knows what Cinema truly is.
Hoyte Van Hoytema and Oppenheimer just won the Oscar award for Best Cinematography, congratulations, Excellent Work
4:00 Best shot of the entire film. I absolutely loved the horseback riding scene!
Isn’t it incredible.
I agree
saw this movie in theaters on a whim and i’m so glad i didn’t miss it. probably the best film i’ve watched in recent memory.
Simply the best film of 2023. Nolan never disappoints in his technical and narrative requirements
Not Sure how one can 💯 Declare that it's "OBVIOUSLY" Superior to Guardians of the Galaxy Volume Three... 🤔😐😐😐🤔😐😐

Literally, every frame of this movie feels like it should be a painting. Absolutely in love with this film!
This one is of Nolan's best work since The Dark Knight (2008) 🤵🏻♂️💣
Imo Interstellar is the peak nolan, even surpassing tdk
@@suyash6297inception ❤
@@suyash6297 I agree
No I think Inception is the peak
That concept was never seen before, where as interstellar like thing was seen in 2001 A space odessey already
@@MAK4-j1u a new concept doesn't always mean everything, what i liked the most about the interstellar was the amazing cinematography, plot execution and the music, sure everything was as good as it in inception, but i might be biased since i love space but interstellar never fails to amaze me even after rewatching it so many times
Oh boy, seeing it in theaters is hands down the greatest experience I've had this year, and we're up for possibly the best movie of this year along with KOTFM
Christopher Nolan is one of my favorite directors, and this not only shows that he is still relevant and after how bitter he was with Tenet, but that we are facing his best film.
Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr and practically everyone did an exceptional job, the direction, script, cinematography, editing, and the great soundtrack.
So we go with this movie with faith in the awards season, and in the Oscars.
As always, very good video :D
Bitter with Tenet?
@@anthonymartensen3164 I was referring to what the failure was with Tenet with critics and the public. And look, with Oppenheimer he managed to win over critics, audiences and the box office.
@diegoperleche5177 yeah, I think Tenet got a bad rap. But I'm glad Oppenheimer is a hit!
Tenet wasn't bad movie
@@hristijandimitrovski8664 you're right, it isnt, but that doesn't mean it is particularly a great film either.
The greatest cinematic experience of my life. No other words can do.
nolan fucking nailed it
Hell yeah
Almost 3 hours of a slide show of pictures, pause the movie where you want and you'll get a brilliant and beautiful shot, each shot is a masterpiece and a work of art itself, like, it's insanely beautiful.
Oppenheimer wins Best Picture, cinematography, director, editing, score, actor, supporting actor, Congratulations to All of them and the team, Great Movie, my favorite of 2023
I love this film so,so, so much- this is one of those rare films, that i saw twice at the cinema!
7 oscars wow
Nolan - Best Director
Murphy - Best actor
RDJ - Best supporting actor
Gorranson - Best score
Well Deserved
One of the greatest soundtracks ever made!
Oppenheimer is not only Nolan’s master work but really the master work of everyone involved in the damn thing. Everyone was on the top of their game for this film. Everyone! And also this wonderfully edited video reminds of of just how powerful a film closeup can be, and this film has loads of stunning/jaw dropping ones.

But this is absolutely his masterpiece. So many amazing scenes also the performances are so well played. Everything about this film is triumphant
Every shots in this movie is pleasing to watch.
Every frame in this film is a work of art. Props to Hoyte van Hoytema & Kostas Theodosiou for their work on this film.
It was an honor, to watch this in a theatre even though it wasn't imax
An Oscar winner for best music and best cinematography!!
この映画のおかげで私は破壊の力が持つ美しさと恐ろしさを知ることができた
Possibly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in the cinemas when I went to see this in July, IMAX.
Christopher Nolan and his visual and practical effects are unmatched, love his work and effort he puts into his productions.
The number one contender for Best Picture 2024 currently
The thing I’m never going to get over was how well Hoytema utilized the IMAX format, and the fact that I will likely never get to see this movie on that screen again. It makes me sad.
This film was my first cinema experience , and let me tell you it’s worth it, what an exceptional masterpiece

This was unprecedented for Nolan. He outdid himself with the imagery. Kudos.
I was so glad to see this film in theaters (sadly not IMAX), and never has movie ending horrify me than the one in Oppenheimer, showing and reminding us how dangerously powerful nuclear weapons are and how much they can destroy if nuclear war ever happened. Such goosebumps.
I watched Oppenheimer 6 times as IMAX Laser and 1 time as Dolby Cinema. It was a truly thrilling cinematic experience
DP Hoyte van Hoytema,
Editor Jennifer Lame and Sound department will win Oscars
The shot of Oppenheimer in the plane with the warheads was dope too
This might be your best video
The choice of music, the shot selection and the structure itself
It perfectly captured the up and down of the movie, the fast and the slow, in harmony with the music
Just great 🙂
Incredible cinematography
Chris Nolan never fails to impress with his cinematography. Props to Wally Pfister and Hoyte Van Hoytema for their contributions.
I would like to suggest, for all the fans of animation:
- Amazing Shots of The Nightmare Before Christmas
- Amazing Shots of The Lion King
- Amazing Shots of Up
- Amazing Shots of Fantastic Mr. Fox
- Amazing Shots of WALL*E
Best movie of the year. An unmatchable IMAX watching experience (personal top theather going experience for me ever), everything about this movie is excellent. In Nolan we trust, he never disappoints 🔥

This is a complete audiovisual encyclopedia about what makes Oppenheimer (2023) A Masterpiece.💯💯💯

"Oh but of COURSE 2001 Is "Obviously" *REAMS* Better and Superior"
Beautiful tribute to one the best films of the year.
THIS MOVIE IS SO BEAUTIFUL
💯💯
You do Nolan films so well, videos aware always epic in scale!
I am stunned because of the way you edited it. AMAZING!
You know it’s powerful cinematography and acting when you can already feel the emotion coming off the image before any word is said.
watching this in the theatre was one of the best decisions i ever made
Nolan has done it again
He and Mick Jackson should make a sequel to Threads
One of the best directors ever
This movie is the culmination of cinema. I don't care what anyone says. For those who question my thesis, go read "American Prometheus", take a a writing course, make a film only with practical effects and at least try out acting. Not only was Cillian's performance the best acting I've ever seen, but the whole cast delivered as if it was nothing...
I'm also constantly wondering how a human person could create such a masterpiece...
I guess I'll never know...
Oppenheimer is one of the movies I’ve been waiting for you to do the Amazing Shots of, and I think you should definitely do Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, The Sopranos, Mr. Robot, The Queen’s Gambit, and Braveheart at some point
Sopranos would be amazing
Mr Robot's cinematography is so amazing. Definitely would want that next.
I've always love how Christopher Nolan shoot his films, especially this one, it's something else
also, I am surprised how you got these shots from the film, idk how but I love it
Even without watching this in IMAX, this was such an experience
That Musical Transition tho
This is...I don't have words, such a well made video with great quality, and direction, Beautifully done!
My "lifesaver" in the whole summer so far, i can't bear thinking about it up to now 😢❤
The best movie of 2023.
i want to see it like the first time again in imax, one of the best experiences in a cinema in years
Does anybody else like tear up seeing all of this beautiful cinematography? 🥹

@@drumbum3.142 because of the intellectual background of the film, because of the moral behind the film, because because of the artistic vision and freedom behind the film, because of the acting, directing, writing, because of the score, because of the impact. Etc etc etc.

This movie was an experience of a lifetime 🫶🏼
Great edit. The movie and cinematography is amazing. Saw it in 70mm IMAX. Mate, you brought me back to that experience even with a 1:78 ratio.
I saw this movie two more times just for Niels Bohr and his "can you hear the music" scene. Just tickles my brain in the best way possible.
this is art of oppenheimer
Best movie I’ve ever seen
2:29 smooth transition of music from 'quantum mechanics' to 'destroyer of worlds' well done 👍
Espetacular ❤
Amazing 😯
Probably your easiest video (or perhaps hardest?). The entire movie is just well shot.
It should win every Oscar damn so good Nolan has made it I mean the imax ratio, objective subjective description with black and white frame ❤❤❤❤❤ absolute love , true cinema .. for me Oscar 2023 belongs to Oppenheimer. So deep and so passionate he was about his life ... Got to learn so much things n Nolan made it v interested
Oppenheimer is great but that doesn't mean it should win all Oscars. It is very good in all aspects but it's not the best in any in my opinion. There are better films this year in costume, makeup, soundtrack, cinematography, script and production design for example. And I wouldn't doubt to say directing and acting too.
@@r.c.c.10 yeah there is always a competition in these times , but I'll say max winner Oppenheimer can emerge !! & Definitely in sound category it should win an award !!
In my opinion, almost the entirety of the Trinity test is a cinematographic masterpiece, as well as a musical one. The 'Trinity' OST which plays right before the Gadget's explosion, adds an immense amount of tension to the scene, and when the bomb explodes and the track stops, the silence is almost relieving. The only thing you hear when seeing the bomb explode are Robert's breathing and the buzz of the lights in the bunker. It almost feels like God looking at his creation, but this time, becoming scared of it. The way the blast of the explosion is captured and shown to the audience combines feelings of amazement and shock, the cinematography is magnificent, but the reality is rather terrifying.
When the blast reaches the bunker, it's so loud and strong that you feel as if you are in that bunker, but you are in a theater, and then the music slowly kicks back in, and we're back in the movie.
For this brief instant of around 5 minutes, you don't even feel like watching a movie anymore, you feel like watching an atomic bomb explode in the middle of a desert.
The soundtrack is gorgeus in this movie
The ending made me hold my breath like the first time I saw it, this is incredible
Oppenheimer saw Threads(1984) when he closed his eyes.
Absolutely Amazing ! Congratulations !!! This Video and the movie are both masterpieces, imo
Hoyte van hoytema, derserves his oscar more than ever!!!!
When I hear the music I feel like I am a important person and I have to fight and help the world
The editing of these shots with the music is great!
Ooooh I miss this movie already😢 Thanks 💙
2:30 to 3:15 was a spectacle, what a beautiful edit.
Thank you!!!
Oppenheimer is my number one favorite film of the year saw it in IMAX , and again in standard format, I pre-ordered my 4k copy and can't wait to see it a third time then again and again. The two times I saw this film my eyes were clued to the entire screen not taking my eyes off the screen, I believe the Trinity Test scene is one the best scenes in film in history I don't care what anyone says. I hope the film wins best picture if not it will be a sad day for cinema.,
This is Nolan my beautiful dark twisted fantasy
Gorgeous! I love this movie and this video picks every important detail and mixes them all together. Dude, thank you so much.
Such an amazing work on this one!!
And the fact that some people say that Barbie was better than Oppenheimer
Barbie was mediocre
This is a masterpiece
I’m one of those people lol. Oppenheimer’s excessive score and editing hold it back for me.
I've been thinking about the movie for two days.
It's rare for me now and it's a very interesting feeling.
Thank you to the creators of the movie for that.
