I love this phone and it's one of the best budget phones I ever used. For example, I'm reviewing the Nokia G20 which is in the same price range. It's not as good as the N200 at all. This is a great phone to get started on Android with. I actually tell people all the time that if they're switching from Apple to Android, do it with OnePlus. If you go from Apple to Samsung it'll be stressful in my opinion lol

Oooh! A phone video that just didn't cover the specs. Thank you. I've run across very few phone reviews that cover more than unboxing and specs and this was one. Erica Griffin gets really deep into her reviews and I really appreciate it. I've never been a high-end phone type of person because it seems like the ones that costs more have less to attract me to it. For my current phone I was out of pocket $208 but it has stereo speakers, 128GB/4GB memory, FM radio, headphone jack, 6.4 inch screen, Micro SD Card slot. I won a costlier phone earlier this year and didn't want it because of what it did not have. Oh, the phone cost twice as much as mine if I hadn't gotten it on sale. This Nord 200 is one of the phones I've been looking at to replace mine when I can no longer use it because of technology advances.

@@TechOutAdam Thanks. To me, the main attraction of this phone is one I will not benefit from: the excellent ratio of price to features and quality. Being a consumer of high end flagships only, I envy that ratio, that the Apple (any of them) and Android flagships cannot match - bang for the buck is very important for people on a budget. To make it clear: both my Oneplus 3 and One are still very much functional. My 7 Pro and 9 Pro are however in my drawer, always functional and updated, keeping company to the iPhone 12 Pro, Max, Samsung S21 Ultra and others. The ones going out every day with me each sporting its own SIM card, are the iPhone 11 Pro, the iPhone 12 Mini (only occasionally because pockets) and, low and behold, the wonderful Samsung S10 Plus, that is (again) my main - incredibly and pleasantly light and thin, good battery life and photo capability, deserved to be brought back to life!

I got this for a second phone on Black Friday. Just wish it had wireless charging and let you know what percent it's at while charging but overall, good phone.

Hello, Adam Macias, thank you for this review, what are your thoughts on the T-Mobile REVVL V+ 5G vs the OnePlus Nord N200 for someone who needs to update a family to a new phone using the current T-Mobile trade-in your old working phone for one of these?
@@crusadertwo239 Supposedly, the T-Mobile REVVL V+ 5G & the OnePlus Nord N200 are currently temporarily eligible for a free upgrade of 24 monthly billing credits /whatever if you trade in a working phone; T-Mobile does have another free upgrade offer for one or more better phones, and that one requires trading in a working phone from a certain list of eligible phones. I was hoping to get the opinion of someone who had or tried both of these phones because on paper their hardware & software is so close that a real-world test would be required to know for sure. On paper the T-Mobile REVVL V+ 5G is bigger & has a slightly faster CPU & better cameras while the OnePlus Nord N200 has a better screen & maybe it supports more network bands & it may have a slightly better GPU in some ways & it possibly has FM radio.

I got a nokia g50, with the same snapdragon, and went back to my galaxy note 9 because it was crap. I don't know if the problem is the nokia optimization or the snapdragon chipset. Have you experienced any lag or hickups typing? Also general system UI crashes and general unresponsivenes. The reason I bough this nokia was the snapdragon 480 whic is very efficient but I dont know if the problem lies with nokia or qualcomm.

I would say the camera is average at best, and forget night mode but in good light it's decent. The heptics are pretty bad. I love the color. For the price I think One plus did a good job. Your review is spot on.
Had this phone for about a week and a half it was very glitchy and if you had a few apps running it got really bad till you turned them off it also got a very poor signal at my work compared to other phones I've used there I returned it to Amazon..

Just got my phone 2 days ago. I just made a phone call where I was put on hold for a long time. I noticed that I was unable to put it on speaker mode. WTF?
I got mine but no complaints cause my camera works good,don't have questions to ask and I recommend this phone,I don't understand why other people got theirs with issues
i have this phone and every picture i take looks terrible. BTW you actually cant extend the storage with SD it only holds downloaded files. Oneplus offers no replacements... never again will they get my money.
OnePlus didn't even do the best with their Pro models. I reviewed the OnePlus 9 and despite their collaboration with Hassleblad it still didn't perform like an iPhone camera or Samsung one.
That's why I said they said Never Settle, not Never Compromise. It's typical and especially after last year, not surprised they have to make sure they are profitable enough to stay in business. How many promises does Elon Musk make with those Teslas yet they seem to stay expensive. No one says a thing.

This phone is terrible... the screen has fingerprints that wont go away and I never dropped it. They dont offer replacements and the camera is horrible. 64 gb is very limited but the soft screen is horrible

I was an early adopter of OnePlus. Bought a One back in 14. OnePlus is about value. Never Settle. Good review.

I've heard about that and at the time, forgot about it. Wanted to show the natural state of the camera but I heard GCam helps a ton with the software.

You forgetting file management is identical to window . Apples flat file foolish storage cannot separate folders and files
