I was inspired with you yesterday and put up a bag of potatoes that were starting to grow I peeled them and left them whole and then boiled them I took the ones that were still firm 1/2 cooked and sliced them up and put them on parchment paper and put them in the fridge then frezor this morning These can be air fried now The broken potatoes got mashed and eaten for supper and the left overs will be used in homemade dog food
Great dehydrating idea. When you showed how bendy the watermelon was after dehydrating, I was wondering if it got completed dried? Shouldn't it be dry like say a banana chip kind of texture? Maybe the fruit leather is cut thicker? Love these ideas 🥰(edit: so good to know that you need to do lavender separately or everything will smell like it, lol)

You definitely could cut it thin and it would be crisper. ❤
I didn't even know you could dehydrate watermelon! Lol
@@lorettaandjasonoffgrid I didn't either lol
I'm collecting apples off the ground and making apple sauce now until it freezes hard
Apple sauce and apple butter
That's a great idea!!
