Bohol Island Aspiring UNESCO Global Geopark, Philippines

In celebration of International Geodiversity Day, the Provincial Government of Bohol launches this promotional video featuring the scenic geological landscapes of Bohol Island, the first aspiring UNESCO Global Geopark in the Philippines, as we celebrate nature and culture.
The geological sites and landscapes featured are representatives of the island’s 150 million-year-long geological history. We must ensure that these scenic landscapes and seascapes are preserved for future generations.
