As SEBI chair has suggested F&O is becoming a macro issue with 60000 crore of household savings being lost, I would like to point out...
According to this logic she should float a proposal to ban all competitions exams as..
For example in UPSC
Around 10L aspirant fill form
5L appear for exam
For which let's assume they take coaching investing around
2L as fees
So 5,00,000 X 2,00,000= 100,000,000,000 ₹ of household savings are "lost" as only 1000 candidates will be selected!!
P.S. I'm not accounting for opportunity cost of other exams ( CAT, NEET, JEE, NET & Others combined!!

Dear SEBI,
I kindly request that you reconsider increasing lot sizes in the F&O segment as a solution for losing traders. Many traders who initially had large capital suffered losses but are now learning to trade with smaller amounts. Increasing the lot sizes could be detrimental to their progress.
Instead, it might be more effective to introduce a demo account system. By providing traders with a demo account where they must successfully pass a challenge with a given capital, we can ensure that only those who demonstrate the necessary skills and discipline are allowed to trade in the F&O segment. This approach could promote better trading practices and protect traders from significant losses.
Therefore, I humbly suggest that SEBI should keep the F&O lot sizes as they are.
