It's really hard to tell now. So many people run wall hacks and not aim hacks. Most of these hackers don't use those super sticky aim hacks but like you say the soft hacks. It's too bad respawn doesn't listen to casual players but at least they listen to some of us! Thanks for showing us cheaters can get banned. Bummer they'll just get a new account almost immediately and be right back at it.
The way it has been explained to me is that developers are always having to play catch-up with cheats. There is an anti-cheat, and all the new cheats have to do is circumvent that and then you're good. Apex does a decent job with the combination of anti-cheat and a live ban team. Sometimes I wonder if it is a marketing issue since people want so desperately to know something is being done. phew.
I think they were trying to farm damage badges in the second game. It looks like the bangalore got to 3k and noticed the lifeline hadn't hit 2k yet, so she stopped shooting to let her get the damage in.

I've played apex since it launched, heavily, and the amount of cheaters and Smurf accounts I've come across is amazing. I wish they would charge $10 or more for the game and use those funds solely for combating cheating. It would make it harder to make smurf and alt accounts, and those cheaters that buy a new account after banning would be funding the system that combats them.
Yes and couple of other streamers have almost orgasm when watching and commenting some "pro" players skills in theirs clips... They really believe that those ppl do play consistently like robots with no human error factor.. Game is trash because of such community. Because of AA etc..
okay I have a plan: so we know that EA loves money grabbing so how about since after they ban the person they can easily make another account and continue, they add a 25 dollar fine (if not higher) every time they get banned for cheating. then EA can still be penny pinchers and also please the community. this is completely legal too.
The blatant aim bot hacks I can tolerate to an extent because I know that they'll most likely get banned fairly quickly. It's the wall hacks and other "soft" hacks like you mentioned, as well as certain macros that seem to be a greater problem. I've had 2 different people that I used to regularly play with admit to using macros for advanced movements and recoil control. Their justification was that "everyone else is using them so why not me". I can only assume that it's the same justification players use for soft hacks as well.
That's reality real skill is diminishing every single day in console is the same thing everyone runs recoil scripts and aim assist scripts almost every ranked player cheats and I am not making this up
Today I played a rank match I'm in gold 2 and the split just happened I was in diamond before the split and everyone in their mother was cheating. I died to a wraith with obvious recoil scripts they get 3rd partied by a horizon and lifeline they were blatantly cheating they get 3rd partied by a ash and bloodhound they were blatantly cheating then they push a pathy they die to him he was blatantly cheating it was insane absolutely insane and everyone wants to be pretentious and act like the average diamond player has good aim its unreal
For me, it's becoming harder to distinguish between cheaters and decent players once I get into the diamond and masters lobbies. Some people are just very good with decent game sense, movement, and aim.

I really want to play this game to get back into the FPS world, but between the hackers and what sounds like a slight controller edge with aim assist, I may end up frustrated trying to get in as a new Apex player.
The law needs to be updated to make cheating in online games illegal. Cheating in online games will reduce the desirability of the game and therefore the number of players and this will have a direct impact on the income of the game operators. It is effectively a form of vandalism. Imagine if you are a store owner and everyday a bunch of kids(or adults, since I've been in a couple of teams with adult cheaters) just come in and randomly rearrange items on the shelves to make it difficult for legitimate customers. For now, what might help is mobile phone verified account only and automatically flagging accounts for review if the accuracy is above a certain threshold.
the thing i fear most about control becoming a permanet mode in the february update is going to bring a new wave of hackers along... just this past two weeks we got a hacker pretty much everu other round, level 10 players with user name of 20 random digits and dropping 30 bombs with out missing a shot 🤣🤣🤣

My friend and I were playing duos and got third partied right after taking out another team.........4 people were working together and attacking us, 4 people walking up side by side to finish me off, and we lost quickly.......then spectated them as they got down to just them and decided who would win. not hacks or anything but it pissed me off lmao
fortunately we dont have a dev to message so when we run into this most of the time just have to deal with it and let our reports just add to the thousands before that whilst the cheaters carry on playing,.. thats the sad part

I quit Apex like 6-7 months ago but I saw someone's video of the event tracker and the prowler and Eva 8 looked pretty nice so I decided to hop on and play Control Mode off and on and I saw so many cheaters... it wasn't every single game or every other game but you could just tell when they were cheating especially on the PS5 Building map someone was at the top by those 2 phaserunners just 1 Clipping everyone lol and they were only level 20 4k 20 bomb wraith Yesterday I had a control mode match with some predators I knew Moose from watching you, kandy, jankz, staycation, etc and there was some other predator named Ceph and you could just tell the difference between them and the cheaters that they were not cheating and were just good players
So i have run across a cheater and i went to post in in the apex discord and sure enough that person that was cheating was in the discord and i got wrote off saying there isnt anyway she is cheating but she changed her name and everything and i just wish they would actually listen to people and really pay attention.
So if your watching start at 14:00 minutes and set playback speed to .25 and watch the display where it saying the nade will go vs where it actually goes
the only right thing for respawn to do about cheating, is to give wallhack to everyone, and also aimbot, pushtoaimbot button or something, if more than 50% of player base is cheating, then everyone else should cheat aswell

hear me out - you have to have a battlepass to play ranked. I hate gatekeeping the experience from F2P players but it is still possible to save up in game currency to get a free battle pass and then it pays for itself.

Prime costs money and you need to have a phone number attached to your account. R6: Siege has a similar system these days too I think. I think Apex should do something similar. No free battlepass users in ranked either. Only real money. It doesn't have to be a lot and can be a one off payment. I guess you could even give coins back for it so it's "free" with some packs. Respawn are really kind of behind the times on this. Only using anti-cheat just doesn't work because there's always another way to evade it. Bungie have even been taking cheat makers to court to stop their businesses because they know it puts people off the game and hurts their bottom line.
Apex on pc is a joke, they are in ranked and pubs, also people pay them to farm badges. You can get them "banned" all you want. They have HWID spoofers and will be back on the game within minutes with a new account and cheats. Im waiting for 120fps support for consoles to leave this joke of a game on PC

you can sue anyone for anything, at least in america. but any sane judge would immediately throw something like this out, or EA's legal team will make a case on why it should just be dismissed
