I am here trying to learn about financial derivatives and their misuse and abuse by the Banks that caused the global crisis in 2007 and it seems I will not find here what I am looking for, but I am gladly surprised with the clear and didactic way he explains and very pleased because his english is totally understandable. With professors like him and the posting of his classes here we can learn a lot of things through internet. Thanks a lot Mr Petrov !
Amazing. I wish all profs were like you. Here in Toronto the professors get paid a ridiculous amount of money to just read off recycled PowerPoint slides. Thank you for being a great teacher.
I'll be starting my bachelor's degree next month, watching your videos and seeing you make concepts comprehensive is so much value. Looking forward on using your lectures to get ahead.
am working now at investment company and i used to miss lot of classes , and your videos are helping me to compensates what i missed , thank you a lot sir
As a managerial economics student I enjoy your videos. This one, a long with the former, have had problems with focus though. One idea could be to set the camera at a fixed focus range and disable auto focus. I think the background glare from the whiteboard combined with the lightening is giving the autofocus a hard time. Who’s here after watching the “Great Taking?” Derivatives are 2X larger than global GDP?! Is this true? Is this supposed to make one feel hopeless? 😂 Awesome explanation!!!
thank you sir for such a wonderful explaination. day by day im getting fan of your lectures Is the 2nd part of this lecture is missing from the given playlist of derivatives
I'd love to see more finance, accounting, scheduling, or employee engagement classes if you have them. Do you have any books you would recommend for any of those (I live in America)? Keep up the great work!!
26:10 "and it's no problem to have a derivative, of a derivative, of a derivative, OK?" Ehm, about that... sounds like a disaster in waiting. 2007/2008 anyone?
Thank you very much for your kind words. There is no such word like "intensic". I don't know it, I have never heard it, and I have never used it. May be the word is "INTRINSIC"?
What a wonderful teacher oh my God. Im glad I've discovered him before my exams. If all my teachers were like this I would get only 90s or A+

You are an absolute life saver! My prof only reads slides out loud not very helpful to actually learn
Very useful to BBA students and really enjoyed it.
Brilliant work, you're raising the bar high. We need more teachers like you.

This happens to be a master's program in finance.
Do we have the option of watching the future lectures first or do all future option lectures need to be taken in sequence? =)
The English also a very good. At first I use to think Mr. is native speaker

KINDLY RECOMMENDS BOOK FOR FINANCIAL DERIVITIES
By keeping it simple is the key,the advance will come as they learn the basics,if they really learn from what he is explaining
"Credit Default Swaps" are my favorite completely valueless Financial Derivative.
They could be quite useful, but that's not how they are used on Wall Street.
26:10 "and it's no problem to have a derivative, of a derivative, of a derivative, OK?"
Ehm, about that... sounds like a disaster in waiting. 2007/2008 anyone?
Yes indeed. You are correct.
I would like to see this man teach us to make quinoa
Mr Petrov your vids are very usefull for me. and I dont understand the "intensic".
Thank you very much for your kind words.
There is no such word like "intensic". I don't know it, I have never heard it, and I have never used it. May be the word is "INTRINSIC"?
you are right. thanks a lot.
Not actually sure its not an "English as a 2nd language acquisition" class rather than a "derivatives" one
Thank you so much, no college haha 😂
No clarity sir
Thx, professor! LOL
