      What I would love on the Max Pro, is a rear camera attached near the USB C port area on the ear stem facing behind you, then you could have a separate video screen of your full rear view! Just like a rear view camera on a car, then while you are walking, you can see in front and behind you! How cool would that be!? @@PSYCHOV3N0M current VR devices already have wireless adapters you can plug into the headset. If you have wifi 6 and the proper configuration you can already play wirelessly flawlessly. With the current technology we can already stream and play games with close to no additional latency and image decay.
      So if they say this unit is meant to fix the smartphone compatibility, it means we could access our phones using it as a wireless middleware.
      But I guess they are just selling us their own sort of Android based phone. Which means we will still not be able to use this glasses with an iPhone for example.

    The Rokid Airs were pretty much impossible to get a uniform image, but can adjust for vision. The Nreals had a uniform "square" image with no edge blur or distortion out of box- but no vision adjustment. Are these more like the Nreal Airs for image? IMO the Nreal Airs were far better in that regard. Both however have battery draining, resource heavy apps that I tried once and stopped using. Only use as external display.

    This sounds really interesting! It’s a shame there were virtually no technical details discussed. I’m really interested in the 3D support. The website also says HDCP support. So I’m guessing you can even plug the HDMI adapter straight into a 3D Blu-ray player for direct 3D movie playback support? 120Hz is also good news, being a multiple of cinematic 24Hz. But, if plugged directly into a HDCP 3D Blu-ray player, does the glasses take care of the 24Hz to 120Hz Reprojection? So many questions. I can’t preorder until I have more answers.

Games are nice but most of your customers are grown ups and being able to setup multiple work screens would be a bigger selling point and game changer imo. Apple is about to release their product and I can almost guarantee they are going to ignore the virtual office market. It would be great if you could support a 4k virtual monitor. It could be like MS vs. Apple all over again. MS won that first battle because they focused on business users. I would even try to setup a partnership with MS. It's super tough trying to build your own ecosystems and tooling to support it. That's what MS can do in spades and you can give them the hardware to compete with Apple's consumer vr offerings.

    I really do think the Rokid Station is the future, You will have AR glasses as the screen, and a separate "puck" as its computing processor. The "phone" and the screen will be completely separate. This also fixes a lot of the size issues with cell phones, as the puck can be bigger than a cell phone, and not constrained by the screen size. Though I think the Rokid Station is in a similar place as the previous Rokid, you know it will be the future, but the current iteration isn't quite there.
    All of the Rokid Max reviews have been complimentary, I skipped last year's Oled Display glasses, but it does look like this year's might be a purchase.

      Thank you for your attention on our products. We do also think Rokid Station is the future especially how it solves the major smartphone or other devices' compatibility issue, and in the mean time, preventing the battery draining as well as fixing the streaming services compatibility problem!

    So, you only can adjust the volume and brightness and nothing else. What a shame!, Why not allow the user to adjust the other settings color, tint, contrast, sharpness, etc like on a TV…? 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️. I prefer it this way tbh, like phones do you adjust colors/tint and stuff? 99% of users don't do it and it's because of 2 reasons:
      1. OLED have very accurate colors out of box + infinite contrast.
      2. They already find a sweet spot settings and apply it to all devices like phones calibrated by software already.
      The less complex it's the better, people don't use many of these because it's still complex for them even though these glasses alot less complex to use than VR....

    • @PSYCHOV3N0M

      @@TRX25EX The device manufacturer calibrates the display to their liking.
      No such thing as infinite contrast ratio for a display. Stop falling for the marketing bullshit.

    • @TRX25EX
      @TRX25EX ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PSYCHOV3N0M You can't see beyond OLED contrast so it's not really a marketing BS..... Hence they call it infinite contrast.... OLED achieves a true black to human eyes...
      As for Colors I will rather have a professional calibrate it than me doing it, you can't calibrate an AR glasses using calibration tools so basically you tweaking it's picture than actually calibrating it, that's something should be done in factory.....
      I'm also sure there will be picture setting in app adjustments in future but this is least of my and many concern, OLED doesn't need to have these I never touched my OLED TV settings once I set it to calibrated mode

      @TRX X I just checked my Samsung Galaxy Phone and I can change all the settings I just mentioned to my likings. So I don't know what phone you're using...? 🤷🏻‍♂️ I have a pair of those Nreal Air Glasses and It also only offers Volume and Brightness settings. Problem is the Colors are off and sometimes the Text looks doubled in certain scenes. Would be nice to have settings to adjust to try and fix this. As for these Rokid OLED Glasses. I have to try em out to see if I like the way they look for myself. But, it would be Nice to have options to adjust settings to better suit the user.

    • @TRX25EX
      @TRX25EX ปีที่แล้ว

      @@WOojerVest3andQuest3onMe Bro no one said you can't but over 90% of people won't even adjust these settings cause they already optimum, OLED is easier to calibrate because it's most color accurate panel in market, text issue you mentioning is not colors/contrast issue it's how the glasses lenses work, it's something you can't overcome by changing the settings, it's AR glasses having issues with small text materials...

      Hey, don't shoot the messenger :) I'm huge fan of your channel, just wanted to raise some of my concerns.
      You're right, there are MANY China-made _components_ of many _products_ made by non-Chinese companies. That's plain fact.
      However, what I'm referring to is the company itself and jurisdiction the company falls under. We need to keep in mind that the top collector of personal information from any product made by any Chinese company is the Chinese government itself, as far as I know.
      As for me I usually pick products of non-Chinese companies (preferably UE-based). Yes sometimes it's HARD , event impossible... :(
      On a side note, It seems that many people fall for "Appeal to Futility Fallacy" (arguing that there is no point in doing something because nothing will change) :-)

      It is focal distance. With the Nreal Air I did tests with the transparency and after my eyes were focused. It isn't like having a 28 inch monitor a foot away as some say because my eyes are focused farther. My eyes are focused about 8 ft away and it was about 90 in... so pretty big. But I see how some think it's smaller.

    • @TRX25EX

      Without the cover it feels very big because you get sense of space hence feels like huge TV and even 215inch in some rooms....
      But with cover you get monitor sort of size feeling because you lose that sense of space

      It's called marketing.
      Just like Sony claiming their Xperia One phones have 4K resolution displays. 😂😂😂
      They do NOT.
      The last phones with ACTUAL 4K displays are the Xperia XZ Premium and Xperia XZ2 Premium. Both have 16:9 4K (3840 x 2160) displays.
      21:9 4K = 5120 x 2160.
      Xperia One phones have 21:9 displays but only 3840 x 1644 which is NOT 4K whatsoever.
