    I think the age factor was a bigger deal prior to NIL. There was a negative assumption made against older prospects that they stayed in school so long because they weren't good enough to come out sooner--because why would you forgo getting paid in the league if you could? These NIL deals and the transfer portal deter people from making that assumption.

    Daniel’s can get the ball out faster than anyone in college football last year. It was incredible. I watch ALL LSU games very closely every year. Daniels is phenomenal. He is the best QB coming out since Joe Burrow. Yes last season Daniels was better than any of the 3 seasons Trevor Lawrence played at Clemson. Put their stats down beside each other and you will see what I’m talking about. Lamar, Daniels, Burrow, and Caleb Williams 2022 Heisman season were the best seasons QBs have had period ever really. Burrow had the single best season as any college QB ever.

Has pocket presence. Has a cannon arm and can out run every defensive player on the field outside of corner backs. Then, if he wanted to, he could run through them. His biggest weakeness is on touch throws but he can def learn. AR is taken before every one in this last draft other than caleb williams. I'm not saying he should be top 15, but to have him outside of top 32 is pretty insane. • @NathanDean79
    @NathanDean79 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Age for a QB doesn’t matter as much as other positions. Because QBs typically play a lot longer than other positions. Would you rather have a rookie WR who is 21 or 22 or 24 or 25 the first game of the season? You Idealy wasn’t all your non QBs to be 21 or 22. It means they are still improving still getting better and it gives their career 2-3 more years. You don’t want a guy turning fucking 29 when he rookie contract is up. I mean the reasons for that should be obvious. If it’s not obvious then you got problems i don’t know what to tell you

    Jayden Daniels has narrow shoulders. He doesn’t have the frame to add any weight. Where would it go? Lamar is a lot broader, which has allowed him to get quite muscular over the years without losing anything. Jayden will never be able to do that. He doesn’t have that bone structure. He will always be small. He will always be an injury liability, similarly to Bryce Young who isn’t only short, but also has narrow shoulders. Russell Wilson was able to add muscle and stay durable because he had a wide frame. Daniels isn’t that.

    Everyone says LSU has a good offensive line but was one taken in the draft? It’s crazy to me the hate on Jayden when he plays amazing and makes it look easy so people dissect his body. Nothin to do with football but hey he’s amazing everywhere but his frame is slight so let’s make that the problem. He’s better than penix and Williams. I’d make a bet with you 100 bucks. Daniels wins or is higher on OPLY this year

      Also people were saying that he takes too many big hits which is silly becausw guys like Drake Maye or Caleb Williams too more big hits than him. Jayden Daniel's would always have the sideline in mind when scrambling outside of the pocket and would make sure to get down when needed as well

      Doesn't mean he threw down the field. Nix had 4500 in less games and never much threw the ball 5 yards. You can get a ton of yards throwing it to who's open and moving the chains. Brees showed you that.

    Dude Jaden Daniels is 6’4’’ 210 lbs. that’s not slight framed. This past year Joe Burrow who is 6’4’’ played at 215 lbs. lots and lots of 6’3’’-6’4’’ QBs who with 212, 215, 217 pounds. So Danika needs to gain 5-10 lbs. that pretty dam easy to do. Just drink some weight gainer protein
    Shakes. You will gain weight and working out you will gain muscle in no time. I’m sick of hearing how slight Daniels frame is and he is goons get hurt. Lamar Jackson is 6’2’’ and weighed 205 his first 2 years in the league. And Jaden Daniels has never missed a game at LSU. In 2 years never missed 1 game. Traits wise he actually went 1st overall, unlike kirk cousins who went like day 3 basically. i really he has 1 less interception in his entire career than kirk through his so far. i hate that take so much, people need to stop playing Alex smith like he wasn't "dat dude" to an extent. i take one leg Alex smith over kirk cousins

    It is stupid saying a 24-year-old can't learn anymore and is done learning, but a 21-year-old isn't. Age is how long can you play. If you 24-year-old plays 15 years, it's more than most NFL players do. Sure, drafting a 28-year-old is way different age wise. But 24? So, what. A great NFL career would be 10 years anywhere. If Penix is great for 10 year the Viking will be more than happy. Or You could be a younger QB who still can't get on the field so what good is young if you never play like Lance. 2 teams now have had him and are telling you. He's not good. If he's good, we'll see. Because if he is they don't throw insane money a Dak. Let Dak ruin someone else's cap. 3 first round picks and he's worth nothing. Talk about a drafting mistake.

    HOW can you put Michael Penix in front of Jaden Daniels?? How? I just lost all respect for your show. Daniel’s won the fuckin Heisman Trophy not Penix. It wasnt even close! And Penix was throwing to 3 fucking NFL WRs too so don’t use that bullshit excuse of Well Daniel’s was throwing to 2 star 1st round WRs. Penix was throwing to a 1st round WR and 2 other WRs who were both drafted by round 4 AND Penix was playing behind THE BEST Offensive line in the nation last year. LSU had the #1 offense in the country last year. First in scoring first in total yards 1st in yards per game. LSU did all that in 12 games. Penix had 15 games to pad his stats and they still were not as good as Daniels. If LSU had just an average defense last year we win the national championship there isn’t a shadow of doubt about that. Did you see Penix in the national championship game?! It was embarrassing. It was tough to watch. He was struggling every time the ball was snapped. Under pressure he folds he doesn’t focus. Some focus under pressure some fold. The pressure of the moment and the game and just the pressure you are under from the pass rush. Penix folds under all forms of pressure. He will not make it in the NFL. The falcons will be very glad they signed Kurt Cousins soon. But Kurt may be gone before Penix goes in and it will be too late for them then. Daniel’s is fearless. He has never missed a game because of an injury. Ever. Penix missed most of his first 3 years at Indiana. Plus he is older than Daniels. That matters. Oh and do you know how many times Penix was sacked last year? 12. That’s how good of an offensive line Washington had. LSU has 2 All American offensive tackles but our guards and Center aren’t nearly as good as Washington. And yea Penix ran pretty fast at his pro day. I wish Jaden had run. Jaden runs a 4.41 easily. Probably more like 4.39. Watch the Florida LSU game and you will see what I’m talking about. He out runs all of Floridas LBs and CBs and Safety’s. All of them. Just ran by all of them. Penix had like -16 yards rushing last year. -16 fucking yards dude. Daniel’s had over 1100. 5000 yards of offense in only 12 games. Again Penix stats are for 15 games. Or 14. I’m not sure if they count the national championship game but they do count the conference championship and playoffs. Daniel’s sat out of LSUs 13th game because it was pretty meaningless. You are going to wind up eating your words about Penix and I’m going to enjoy feeding them to you.

      Put it simply he reads the defense better and it the best thrower of the football in the draft. Jackson with the Ravens shows you can be an MVP but really not be a good QB at throwing the ball and reading defenses. It why the Ravens lay an egg come playoff time. Teams make he be a QB, and he shows you every year he isn't. He an athlete who plays QB not a QB who is an athlete it's a huge difference. And it shows. Being the best college player doesn't make you the best QB. It just means you put up more stats. That's doesn't mean you are a better QB.
