I'm playing Fallout 76 on my Android via XBOX gamepass, with a PS4 controller....what a time to be alive lol. I was using an XBOX 1 controller but it uses batteries (albeit not too crazy fast if you're using a good brand like Energizer Max. Anyway I wanted to not have to worry about batteries anymore. I had used my PS4 controller for my android gaming until I got gamepass. I was under the impression that I HAD to have an XBOX/Microsoft controller, turns out that isn't the case. So here I am, playing an XBOX 1 game, on my Android device, using a Sony PS4 controller. I've seen gaming come so far in my 35 years on this planet. In about 1 week I turned my used Motorola Optima G7 Max into a handheld emulation/gaming machine. I also went and bout the Red Knight blue tooth controller that holds your phone in the middle, kinda similar lay out to the PSP/Vita. It's so awesome, I don't regret any of the I investment of time or money into the project. The next thing I'm doing is buying the $30 Android TV box from Walmart and turning that into the home version of what I have now. I can emulate up to ps1/gamecube/dreamcast/some psp with my phone which has 3 gb ram but with everything I've seen 2 gb will suit most people just fine and it runs everything my phone will with 3. It's well worth it for anyone who has been debating on doing this type of thing, I say go for it! I've had sooooo much fun playing retro games, not to mention all the fun Android games out there. Also running a DOS emulator to play the original Fallout. I still think the coolest thing is streaming the XBOX games via gamepass. You don't even need to own an XBOX. Just sign up for gamepass ultimate its $14.99 a month but right now they have a deal where you get the first month for $1. It's amazing, best deal in gaming hands down. I've been a Sony guy for years now but I think I'm going team Microsoft this generation.
Did you know why for Android the controller shines blue and for IOS 13 red? And for IOS 12 with the jailbreak tweak nControllers also blue? I want the blue light back
I can get it to show up in the Bluetooth thing but when I click on it it does nothing. It doesn't say connecting or pairing or anything. But it does with other devices
Nah dude the controller has to stay plugged in. It works but not completely bluetooth. Soon as you disconnect the controller is dead. So you basically gotta play next to the box you use to charge your phone. If you have it like me next to my bed it's great but for others it may suck. So the trick is keeping the controller constantly changing.
There's handheld consoles, phone holder controllers, etc etc etc rabbit hole.... Glad I found out this ps4 controller option because it makes my phone the screen and console or use type c to HDMI TV screen to use my phone as a legit console. Cheapest way to game compared to the other products. PlayStation was genius for that.
My controller keeps popping up a whole bunch of numbers when I put it to the Bluetooth and then it just unconnects in my controller shuts off but my controller is always full battery I don't know what's going on please help me😢
Okay so thanks for the advice on getting the controller to link to the phone however I am having a problem with the button configuration. The analog stick works however when I press a button it does not use the functions like the game requires is there any way you can't help me out on how to get this resolved
