Wait.... so everyone gets the game trayz? That makes me happy. I missed out on preordering this one and was turned off by the idea of having to organize the chaos of all those chits.
Something I don't understand is, there are 6 playable characters but only 25 action tokens. And I noticed the board was 2 - 5 players, so they must have really meant it to never be possible to play with all characters on the board. But why? This baffles me. It's just one more character so it can't be for the clutter. Was it an economic question? Like, 5 more action tokens for every copy of the game was just that much more costly to produce?

Sounds kind of like a Post-Apocalypse version of Firefly, which I know Sam likes. And like Firefly, you don't every want large player counts because of downtime between turns.
Those look like the dice from the game DOOM. Sam complained DOOM didn't come with enough dice. If you own both games and group the dice together, that might help that complaint.

That was an idea I had based on other critiques that I've had to break up my speaking a bit more. I thought the sound effect fit the theme of the game. It won't be the same one in future vids, but for now, I'm gonna play with this a bit more, but keep the general idea of what I did. Thanks for chiming in, though!
Oh, agreed that having a transition is a good idea, helps break it up, provide punctuation. And it did fit, just started repeating, esp in the middle section when it was used most. Maybe a mix of transitions? Could become a signature Sam Healey mix ... BAM! ... BANG! ... ZAP! .... RAT-A-TAT-A-TAT! :D

Sam what house rules did you set in place to reduce game time? I love the game but it can be quite lengthy so was curious on your solution.

I will say, downtime isn't an issue here at all. The game *length* goes up, but player turns are really short.

Comes out in mid-August. Seeing it for pre-order at $50-$70 depending where you look. Cardhaus says MSRP is $80.

This one looks awesome! I do have one concern and it's about the art. Sam, in your opinion, do you feel like the art is family friendly?
There are some cards in the raider enclave/truck decks that definitely are not.
