I think for this theme, in order to make it a bit more impactful, they ought to have combined the open cube with free RORG. Since most builds take a RORG in the cube basically automatically in order to work in one of the three supplemental sets, the open cube is kinda like 2 open slots rather than 3. OR, if they simply gave us this plus the 4th cube slot that was also an open slot in a later season with the shadow clones, this would feel better i think.
To me the best era of D3 was 2014-2015 because that was peak Reaper of Souls before the power creep. There's nothing wrong with ARPG Cookie Clicker though so I can still enjoy the modern game.

For speed builds it is fun, but I don`t know many push builds which benefits from this theme besides Necro. If you can`t replace anything in the cube this them doesn`t matter. Which builds will benefit?
To the comments thinking soul shards are staying because of the fix in the notes, it is almost certainly for the next time soul shards roll around since they are recycling themes as of S30.

so they nerfed all clases that did good after season 29 to compensate for the helm and wepon gem but now we have nothing ecept our choice of what 3 slots we use in the kube thats a massive nerf ,considering how much players cheated to get to 150 on most clases with the stain of sin exploit and other cheats ,anybody whos honest betre play 4s next season solo is unplayable and non season the sets are so nerfed u need 25k plus paragon and still cant reach 130 on some sets
Strongest? Raw damage, Necro for sure. Altar gives you CC immunity/passability, so you can choose to forgo some toughness options for damage multipliers from the Necro's amazing pool of 2h Scythes. You'll be more squishy obviously, but you'll also be putting out a LOT more damage. These days, with most builds being the way they are and virtually every set build working in a supplemental set like Guardian's, Aughild's or Captain Crimson's via a RORG in the cube... This means that A) for many builds, this season is more like 2 open cube slots than 3. B) most builds aren't flexible enough to really take advantage of the cube being open. C) In terms of being able to buff the damage output of any builds in the game, no other class gets as big of a boost as Necro's do from this upcoming theme.
The pets adn REWARDSS are NOT new though ? why did they say that ? but HAPPY they say they want to add more rewards just not true though hpefully next season
I started playing diablo 3 on nintendo switch. I played it a lot on pc. What I realized is that, it is way harder on nintendo switch. I created a barbarian and on level 1 and hard difficulty, I went to kill skeleton king for a bounty quest, but it took almost 10 minutes to kill it. I did the same thing on pc, but it took only 1-2 minutes. Is there anyone who tried the game on nintendo switch?

@@erkgrr5863Speed only imo. The push builds still requires the same 3 things. You need RORG, 1 weapon and a for the most part armor slot since e.g Meteor has that Mempho helm.
While I respect that they're keeping D3 servers available, in this phase of recycled content it kind of just feels like if a good friend has turned into a zombie. Like... they're dead, but they're also still around. So you can't have a funeral, but they're not really themselves anymore either. It's conflicting.
UE is not that good starting up, I find GOD or Shadow are much better, every times UE has been the start I find myself under powered for a long time until I got every single pieces for the build.
playing for a few days to a week every like 4 months is still fun. When you cap out and aren't interested in pushing GR you wait until next season. I'm probably going to play 1-2 chars until i get bored, usually within 1-2 weeks, and then do something else.
@@David-hw9sii feel confident in saying thats 90% of the playerbase myself included. Even with SSF there is no way to compete on leaderboards if you dont no life the game
I unistalled D3 after my 1st and last Season in Season 28... the one with the altar... was able to knock out the Platinum trophy in a month or so and it's no longer on my console

I can’t remember what was ideal for groups with this season theme? Season 30 has been a blast! Gonna be hard to go to this but will still hit it!

No. Season 29 was the last season with a new seasonal theme. From 30 onward they're going to just recycle past seasons.

Are any new combos possible? A lot of legendary powers were updated. F.e. you could put both Meteor weapons in the cube and use a one hander + source.

They are done making new season themes as of S29. From S30 onwards, they will re-use past season themes.
