What quantitative approach do you use?
then why do you use pearson correlation?

The study employs a quantitative approach with a correlational design. This method is used to analyze the relationship between two numerical variables: daily expenditure are independent variable and nominal savings are dependent variable. The sample consists of 87 undergraduate Accounting Education students at State University of Malang, selected using random sampling based on the Slovin formula with a 5% margin of error.
This study uses Pearson Correlation analysis to measure the linear relationship between daily expenses and the amount of monthly savings of students of Accounting Education Study Program, State University of Malang. The results of the analysis show that the correlation coefficient value is 0.181 with a significance level of p = 0.094 which indicates a very weak and statistically insignificant relationship between the two variables. This means that students' daily expenditure does not have a strong enough influence on their monthly savings amount. This suggests that there are other factors, such as income, savings motivation, or financial literacy, which may play a greater role in influencing students' savings habits than daily expenditure.
      thank you miss 🙏🏻
