I live in an extremely humid area and have had my Himi set for over a year and I haven’t had any mold! Here’s what I do: Fill a small spray bottle with 1 part rubbing alcohol, 9 parts tap water. Only use this to rehydrate and maintain your gouache consistency. The alcohol kills any bacteria and mold without drying your paints!
Same. I really tried to reviveit with warm/lukewarm water twice but it just wont melt back to the way it was so I had to throw it away even though I remember i bought it for 600 PHP
I would recommend adding only distilled water to rewet the gouache then add a few drops of clove oil essential oil as it has beneficial antifungal properties and helps the product from molding .
The advice I’ve found is a bit all over the place but essentially: package the box in an airtight container or ziplock bag, store it in a cool dry place away from sunlight. If you live in a humid country i heard putting the paints in the fridge (after sealing it) works. Not sure if this actually works though but I’m trying option 1 which is airtight container and am about to see if it works. I also heard that you should spray the paints with distilled water instead of regular tap water (I couldn’t find any) because sometimes the water you use could be the cause. But this varies country to country I think because I’ve heard plenty of others who don’t have to go out of their way to find distilled water.
Nice studies. I can tell you have put a lot of practice into this. I like your advice about using it thickly to cover ink lines. It's true that most of the colors are worthless when thinned, except perhaps the darkest colors. I did not know I would learn something about art from a young girl in the Phillipines, haha 😂
Mine also got mouldy! I'm so glad to hear you say it because I've never heard another artist mention it. It's nice to know it's not just me!

I like it when you paint people doing everyday things, not just common portraits.

당신이 그리는 그림은 정말 최고예요!!💖
I enjoy these painting pen sketch videos so much!
oooh those pastel shades are so pretty!! 🥰
Wow!!! I really love the effect of gouache opacity with the red pen bellow!! The color palette gives a comfort vibe!!! :))))
Very cute sketch paintings! The double colors seem interesting coz my himi miya gouache always dries up faster.
Ballpoint pen sketch becomes out line❤
Very beautiful art work❤ you inspire me so much❤
After your wonderful video I'm thinking of buying the HIMI gouache, but I wonder how to keep it mould-free?😅

Himi is for colouring book styles. You’re an artist. Not a match.
