Loved this game and the first just surprised that gabe Logan looks different to the first and they removed that taser that can burn you alive from a distance. 989 studios needs to remake this game such a classic.
EXCELLENT VIDEO I LOVED IT! I also love this game it holds such a special place in my heart and im currently debating whether or not to get the ps5 version and give it another spin as when i was a kid I only had one disc and no memory card.
Me personally I thought SF2 is way easier than the first one. I don’t understand people who say this one is harder. I thought this was pretty straightforward too. And this game was really nice with the checkpoints too.

The last time I played a Syphon Filter was when I tried Dark Mirror on the PS2 a few years back... and then my PS2 decided to stop reading discs shortly thereafter :P Honestly, I haven't gotten it fixed or replaced yet either. I really have to get around to it. Every once in awhile, I just want to replay a Syphon Filter for some reason - this is always one of those series where you can go back to at any time and get some enjoyment out of an entry, no matter how long its been. Damn, now this review has made me want to play one real bad, lol. I don't even wanna try nabbing one from the PS3 store either since recent stories have pointed to Sony f**king up the PS1 Classics over there like Chrono Cross (and honestly, they fucked up the PS1 Classics on the PSTV/PS Vita long before then. The PSN Classics are just not reliable... might as well just turn to Duckstation then 😄 )
Yea i still have my 2 CDs for the ps1 was one of my favourite games back then i only played the first one on a demo cd never played the 3rd one but also played Logan's shadow and dark mirror on my psp 3000
i never played spy games cause it looks like too much action-oriented. i prefer survival horror. maybe i should try one day. but this game in particular looks having no puzzle to solve.

Great review. Syphon Filter 2 was a big game when it was first released, people absolutely loved it.
Of course it’s 4am and I’m here watching this going through some flashbacks. I like how you brought out the 989 studios ☺️

*It hasn't been removed. Its' just not available from the get go... There's a place to find it in one of the mountain levels.

They're on PS5 as retro games. 🤞 hopefully they see the value

When in doubt. Turn to emulation 😂. But yes definitely re-playable, the attention to detail in this game goes a long way.

no puzzles really just go to the switch and press it kind of stuff
