Personally I listen to it at like 1.25 or 1.5, sometimes as it is, I often times enjoy the deepened vocals with the tempo being around the same as the original song, it's a nice take on it for me, personally.

Nightcore and antinight core are not acquired tastes. Some songs are good in nightcore and some are good in anti nightcore. You just have not found really good songs in them. This song sucks in anti nightcore but some amazing songs are discord and resistance and those two are even better played at 1.25 speed.
