It is amazing how peppy and quick this new 1.3 liter motor is with the turbo, it is way quicker than the HRV, CX3, Trax, etc.

the trailhawk is the most heavily discounted trim, so it makes it worth it compared to the other trims.
Trailhawk 1.3liter transmission is calibrated for off road and the limited trans is calibrated for more on road.
You forgot to mention buttons behind steering wheel to control stereo settings. And yes, you can get two different types of sunroofs. Thanks for tour.
Here in Brazil we have an 2.0 liter turbo diesel with 170 horse power in Trailhawk version.
I got tired of waiting for the 2019 Trailhawk version to be introduced so I bought a left over 2018 model, which I like. I wish I had waited though because I have the same turbo engine in my FIAT 500L and it's a major improvement over the 2.4L Tigershark engine.
2015 1.4 Turbo 5 speed manual. Fast for going in and out of city traffic. Better than the CVT I had on my old Patriot.
But only 2wd....cant get a manual with 4wd.
2.4 Patriot Sport fwd 5 auto 6 manual is fun I’d love to try turbo renegade
@@buildmorefarms1007 2015 4wd with the manual was an option. It could have been a European option because my Renegade was made in Italy.

The 1.6 diesel is more than enough for everyday driving. Average 49MPG mixed conditions, I have been up the mountain roads of the Italian Alps and it had now problems torque wise. I don't know why people slander these little Jeeps. The Trailhawks can hold their own against Toyota's and Wranglers as proven by many channels on TH-cam
Unfortunately, the diesel is not available in North America.

I think I am going to tradein my 2015 trailhawk for this one much more ergonomic and modern amenities in the interior and I like the fact that the transmission shifts quite well with the new model which has been my only complaint on my old trailhawk. By the way the renegade trailhawk is a stout offroader. I know because I offroad in my old trailhawk all of the time. If you know how to offroad and understand this vehicles limitations you wont have any problembecause quite honestly it is a little billy goat. Just get some better all terrain tires and you will be fine.
You said the 2019 TrailHawk is Super Charged . Is it faster than previous TrailHawks ? I have a 2016
This is wrong, the Renegade comes with either the 2.4L tigershark (which sucks, poor NVH and very high oil usage is common) or the all-new 1.3T which is turbocharged not supercharged. The optional 1.3T actually makes less peak horsepower than the old 2.4L Tigershark, but much more torque both peak and especially in the midrange. It gets better real world fuel economy and most important is a more refined and reliable engine. Avoid the 2.4L Tigershark, its a piece of poop.

We have one like this. Can not find the dipstick.
The dipstick is integrated under the oil filler cap..LOL

It's a nice little jeep, but honestly it's way overpriced for what it is. You can get a reliable Subaru Forester or a Toyota RAV4 for roughly the same price.
Both of which are way way slower than this new turbo Jeep! Drive one and you will see.
The Subaru is for gay people and they're not reliable at all. My friend had one and it blew up, brand new. I've never had any issues with any FCA product. I've lemon lawed a Toyota once. Drive one before judging.
