I am still playing 98 on neogeo and i thought my comco is great but in vid is more crazier..I really like snk doing such to make a big difference on its old game then push it to the market with polish..this is a success. I really hate when game company change a tiny bit then sell it again as new game,
it's common in videos like these to use big characters like chang, because the attacker has more space to hit... and the purpose of these videos is to push the characters' combos to their highest potential, or do something cool looking, so no, they are not practical in real matches. i think of it as a way to learn more about the game and the characters.
Is this stock 98UM? I'm seeing moves in this vid I never saw the fighters do before (and I'm not talking about the combos- those are great too :)). At 4:04 Athena has a super fireball that one-shot-ko's Heavy D. Never seen it. Never seen competitors in competitions use it. Amazing if this is the real 98UM- I already wanted to get it (my country doesn't get KOFs almost at all), but these new moves would make it even more desirable...
so basically you can connect any moves or supermoves 1 after another in this one. well, a lot more than old kof 98. it should be fun to play but kinda lost its vs play value.
