I didn't understand if Belvile loved Florinda. Why he had visited Angellica or what would have happened if he had money ? Would he had spend 1 month with Angellica or would he had been loyal to Florinda.
He had been loyal to Florinda because in one scene Florinda was testing him by giving jewellery but he refused to take it.. I know it has been nine months since you asked this😂

Please explain what is the meaning of the quote "Let craft, ambition, spite Be quenched in reason's night Till what weakness turn to might Till what is wrong be right Till what is dark be light" By Lewis Carroll
I am not giving any established interpretation of these poetry by Louis Caroll in the answer to your question. But as I've read Caroll in his most popular literature called "Through the Looing Glass," a story included in the "Alice in Wonderland." In the preface of the story, Caroll wrote a poetry, which is one of my favorites, and a line of the poetry says, "The rhyme of our rowling- Whose echoes live in memory yet, Though the envious years would say "forget." The whole poetry gives us our childhood memories related to fairy tales, and this particular line has a meaning which reminds us that those childhood stories still have a special place in our heart and deep down our heart we just don't want to find any logic but only to enjoy the magic of those stories even though our heart which now wears a garb of adulthood only wants logic.. So from that point of view as Caroll constantly had the theme of children stories in his literatures so the poetry that you just described can be interpreted from a similar point of view. It may say that the art should not only be reasoned and until the time it is seen only for the reason or logic the time is weak, wrong and dark. Only when this applied perspective is gone we will have light in our lives as well as literature.. This one is my own interpretation, being a second year English honors student and have read Caroll. Hope it answers you.. 🙏
Areee yaar kitne characters hain isme !
Mind chakara gya .
By the way,a good work 👍👍
