A special voice over: The lovely voice you hear in the video is my Grandmother, Hiroko Howe, survivor of the 1945 bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. She taught me how to fold paper cranes when I was 5. Over a 15 year period, we folded 1000 paper cranes together.
I remember reading a book in grade four based off of Sadako. It was a pretty sad book and our two grade four classes decided to make 1000 paper cranes and hand them around the school. We only made around 890 but we still passed them around. Good days.

You did a lot of hard work on this video and I should say the motto of the video succeeded. I want to make paper cranes with the paper I have in my home with a wish to create a happy world .
