    The lever is for the steering wheel rake adjustment - it does not tilt, just moves towards or away from the driver
    Some corrections:
    Grant Larson designed the 986 Boxster, not Harm Lagaay who was the Porsche design chief at the time.
    The 986 Boxster was inspired by 550 Spyder and 718 RSK, not 356.
    The duct in the drivers side (left side) is not for cooling, it collects air fir the engine intake.
    The left side placement of the igniton switch is not a myth - it is a nod to the le man racer that allowed the driver to start the car with their left hand and grab first gear with the right hand to save time.
    I could go on... but I suggest you research your subject more diligently in future.

      I sure did. Im a big fan of the car and I appreciate those (like yourself) who put in the effort to tell the unique story of the car.

    Can an ecu tune and remap plus intake/exhaust upgrades be enough to offset the performance gap the 3.2S has over the base 2.7 model? Thanks
