I found Eastshade this year, after the shutdown, when everything in the world seemed to be at its absolute worst. Playing it was like finding a secret door into Heaven. I needed this game so badly, now I get wistful thinking about the island and its people. The way you think about an old vacation spot you made memories at as a kid. Such a beautiful experience. Also! Not sure if anyone else has let you know, but if you're playing on PC, you can export your paintings and they get saved as .jpgs, ready to share!
I definitely got Oblivion vibes off this game, but much better. I’m surprised almost every character is so nice. The environment in the game is absolutely serene. I’m glad I bought the game.
When I was really sick for months I loved this game its so relaxing and soothing and doesnt get you aggravated or excited if you need to stay calm to recover.
This game looks delightful, I will absolutely check it out. I`m a sucker for exploration games like that. And that painting mechanic is really cool. Thanks for all the videos.

I discovered this game recently and I'm so glad I bought it. It was on sale, but it would've fully been worth the whole price. I enjoyed the demo prequel thing too, but the appearance of the characters was startlingly different.
I thought the graphics would shine and I will enjoy myself a lot but the thing is I enjoyed gameplay more than graphics. It is just an adorable game and it lefts an amazing taste on your tongue. I just loved it from start to end which is very rare for me.
I too love this game, took me by complete surprise and only started it because it leaves Game Pass soon. This really reminds me of my adventure with Wandersong, another game I got from Game Pass, is completely underestimated because it has no killing in it, and is now one of my favourite games of all time. I highly recommend!
The first 30 seconds of this review, I 100% expected the narration to be sarcasm and for this game to be super dark beneath the surface, lol. I mean, c'mon, it sounds exactly like what we've all come to know as "TH-cam" sarcasm.
I sure hope the dev is working on more! Depends on what you're looking for. Dwarrows is another game without painting and voice acting but it's about exploring with some puzzles
It's great maybe on PC, i'm playing it on basic PS4 it's terrible, full of landscape and tree pop ups, bugs, I was walking around with the fishing rod for half an hour, was not able to remove it from my hands until I quit and restarted. And thr controls did not respond at least 2 times. Don't buy for PS4.
There are technical issues and bad performance on PC as well and I think a lot of it comes with it being made in Unity which isn't ideal for open world games I've seen some parts of the game where it is a slide show on my monster PC and It doesn't matter the settings so somethings are just software bottlenecked rather than hardware
Thumbs down! I'm 6min into this, and not watching anymore. There's zero information what the game is about. Leveling, combat, actual gameplay. No actual explanation.
This is not a combat game, it’s genre is walking simulator. There is no shooting or killing, or hurting. It’s a peaceful game with many stories happening inside.
I usally just play action games and maybe some strategy or simulation games but I love myself a walking sim once in a while and this is one of the best ones out there But I think this is the type of game where either you love or hate it and I also thing it's easy to get a grasp of where you stand by just watching the trailer

For me, this is the best game of time, but bear in mind I don't go for endless shoot up or hack and slash games. Please let there be a sequel.
