I was there and agree. They started out with toilet brushes on the mics, guitars and drums harsh noise for like 20 minutes then they picked a girl from the crowd to sing smells like teen spirit. Then they played a ton more songs. Prob the best time i saw them play and the longest.
Melvins played Eugene WOW Hall in 92 or so, after one song, skinheads showed up and yelled "PLAY FASTER" - to which Buzz and Joe just cranked up their amps, and all walked off stage with feedback blaring our ears - for 30 minutes, then they fainally came back out and cancelled the show....was the best and worst show I ever saw
Melvins, crashed at my house in 92', between the Melbourne (Florida) show and Miami show. Buzz woke up sick and had to go to the hospital. They ended up cancelling the Miami show.
You had me until 25mins in. Sure, nobody likes taxes and the rich should pay more. We working stiffs also pay taxes for basic infrastructure like roads, bridges, schools, etc.. Of course the system's flawed but if you want things to change run for office or support like-minded candidates.

I was at that show. By far one of my favorite performances of the Melvins. @Tadeus Fluugebile the random girl is a friend of mine. Small world.
I bet that was a great night, sadly I was only 6 at the time so I probably wouldn't have been able to "appreciate" it at that point lol

Saw them open for TOOL in Orlando 10/11/01. Danny came out in the beginning and jammed with the band.
They were very loud 😂 best concert ever
